2000 Viper Boats Cobra 201 Do Not let the age of this boat bother you! If you did not know it is a 2000 model, you would think by its condition that it was only 3 or 4 years old. It has all the "goodies". Hummingbird 997 in the dash, Hummingbird 778 on the bow, cover and Minn Kota trolling motor. The engine is a 2003 Mercury 200 HP OptiMax with SS prop. For sale is a "Viper" project speed boat and trailer (No Titles for either). I bought the boat as a project to work on this summer, but I don't have time to complete. The boat is a Viper - 4 Meter (12 foot) fiberglass shell (No factory plate). Boat floats, seems in good condition and will seat 2 when finished. Needs a little bit of fiberglass repair and of course much more. You will need to obtain a motor, steering and throttle controls, running lights, gas tank and gas line, build a bottom platform and transom mount for motor. I have bought a lot of the materials needed for the project and will include them with the sale. This includes, 2 cushioned boat seats, steering wheel and cable, lights, boat plugs, stainless steel fittings and screws, and a BRAND NEW sound system for the boat. (Pyle PLMR18 AM/FM - MPX in dash marine electronic tunning radio with USB/SD) (Pyle PLMRCW3 water resistant stereo housing for turner) (2 - Pyle 120 Watt water-proof speakers). The trailer is in good shape, but needs to be adjusted to fit this boat as I bought this separately. The trailer tires are in great shape and it comes with a spare tire. I have not tested the lights, but the wheels are in good shape and it rides smoothly down the road. The trailer socket is for a 2 inch ball mount. Price is solid as this is what I have put into the project so far.

I purchased this boat in 2011 from a boat dealer in Marble Falls, TX. I was told they were selling the boat for a doctor that had purchased the boat from a solider. After purchasing the boat the solider received orders for Hawaii and put it in storage until he returned. The condition of the boat reflects the accuracy of this story. At some point either the solider or doctor replaced the motor with a 2004 Honda 4 stroke. When I found it there were only 45 hours on the motor. It sat for a while because the dealer had to replace the fuel pump when it wouldn't start on my start up demo request. From this point on it has run like a champ. Since I've owned it I have either had it covered or in a covered boat lift on Lake Limestone, TX. The boat motor currently118 hours.
