1974 Cal Yachts 2-27, MERTINI is a much loved, well-cared for cruiser in very good condition. This is not a project boat - it is loaded and ready to sail away for adventures on the Salish Sea.Mercury 9.9 outboard, nearly new with very low hours. Electric start, electric tilt, two fuel tanks. Starts first time, every time.New dodgerNew dingy with 3.5 hp outboardCabin: Spacious layout sleeps 4 comfortably standing headroom. Foldout table seats 6. Galley with sink, pressurized water, icebox, 2 burner portable propane stove. Comfortable cushions in excellent condition. Enclosed head w/holding tank and sink. Portable propane heater. Hull: Mertini was built in 1974 when they still built them strong and didn't spare the fiberglass. She is solid and fast. There is some surface blistering on the hull, not uncommon in boats of this era, but no encroachment, dry bilge. Hauled and bottom painted last spring.Sails: Main, Genoa, working jib and storm jib all in very good condition. Rigging: All in good to excellent condition. All lines lead to the cockpit. Mertini is very easy to sail and singlehand. She sails kindly and points well to weather.Electrical: Recently rewired panel. Two nearly new heavy duty marine deep cycle batteries. Charger, inverter.
