This boat appears to be in good condition. The pontoons appear to be in excellent condition, as does the underside of the decking. Outside the boat there were no major dings or scratches to be noted. Inside the boat, everything is also in good condition. One area on the back decking is discolored due to some exposure. It's not clear whether that will come out or not. There are a couple of small places on the upholstery that also may need attention, but nothing major. Everything works as it should on the boat per the seller. 1989 Caliber 33 Brokers Comment: "Traveller" has spent her life on the Great Lakes Fresh Water. She has had numerous upgrades. Below is an excerpt from a review by Naval Architect Jack Horner: The method of construction of the Caliber 33/35 is just about as good as can be found on a moderately priced, production fiberglass boat. The hull is constructed of solid fiberglass and resin laminate. There are substantial and closely spaced floors throughout the bilge and unlike many boats in this size and price range, Caliber does not use pre-fabricated fiberglass liners blindly secured in place with adhesive bonding materials. Instead, Caliber secures each bulkhead and joiner component with two to four layers of hand-laid fiberglass cloth and resin. Decks are constructed with plywood, rather than balsa wood, core and the deck-to-hull joint is sealed with a polyurethane adhesive and then bolted thorough an aluminum toe rail every 6" with 1/4" stainless steel carriage bolts. The bolts are fit into square holes in the toe rail so that tightening the nuts will not cause the bolts to turn and break the caulking seal. This creates a strong, solid structure and creaks and groans common to lesser boats when they are stressed are practically nonexistent with the Caliber. Some of the early Caliber 33 models did have some problems with bowsprits that failed under heavy load but this was latter corrected with a beefed-up structure. The accommodations on both the Caliber 33 and 35 are virtually identical. There is a V-berth cabin forward followed by a starboard head with integral shower. The main saloon, with 6' 3" headroom, features a full-length settee/berth along the port side, an L-shaped starboard settee and a table that folds up against the forward bulkhead. There is an efficient U-shaped galley aft to port and a starboard quarter berth cabin/navigation station with a bi-fold partition to close it off from the saloon. Auxiliary power is provided by a Yanmar, model 3GM, marine diesel engine that provides plenty of punch. My sea time on these boats is limited to several sea trials. However, owners I have spoken with are nearly unanimous in their praise of the boat & sailing characteristics. The Caliber 33 and 35 are both excellent choices for bay and coastal cruising and, with proper experience and crew, they are capable of offshore passages. The bottom line is these are well-built boats that offer excellent value and have maintained their resale value well over the years.

2008 Caliber 1 Boats 2550 xcellerator,Welcome to my listing... Up for sale is the best boat you could ever buy! It's in mint condition and when you see it you will think that it's a new machine. Caliber 1 used this beauty as a show boat from 2008 and never let it touch the water until 2014. Fresh water only and stored 365 day's a year indoors. This boat came out of Lake Havasu AZ and it is top of the line. It has a 496 MAG HO Mercruiser with a Bravo 1 (includes drive shower) driven by a 26p stainless 4 blade prop in perfect condition. This has a brand new custom made bimini top and cover made with matching sumbrella fabrics and mesh materials making it the perfect top for those hot days. Of course it has a huge stereo with 2 12" rockford fosgate subs (1000w JL marine amp) and 6 JL Audio Marine speakers (600w rockford marine amp) in the perfect locations to not miss a beat when you are at full speed. This is a mid cabin open bow boat... MCOB... Meaning that the cabin is in the middle with additional seating and storage and a open bow for getting out front making yourself feel like you are a bird over water. LED Interior lighting, Mushroom cleats for optimal fender placement, drop down blosters for the driver & passenger. This boat came shipped to me from the original owner out of Arizona and all documentation was included along with service records. I can tell you it was maintained by me very well and also maintained very well by the previous owner. This is one of the most expensive vehicle purchases I ever made and I bought it via email & pictures and once it arrived it was exactly as the previous owner described. This boat was sold by the manufacture in late 2014 and they replaced the interior completely ensuring this was a new boat. They also put in new faria gauges, interior carpet and a new bravo 1 outdrive. The manufacture did install a used 496 MAG HO Mercruiser with 148 hours on it because this helped the boat have some depreciation for insurance purposes. A pre-inspection was done on the motor and the computer read out showed a total of 148hrs with 96.8hrs of those hrs under 1500RPM. (i have all documents) the boat's hull, bravo 1 and all currently has 76hrs on the clock and this can be proved on the dash. Regardless of the above you would never know it if I didn't tell you or you had the engine scanned... but i want that to be known... NO Surprises! This boat tops out around 74-76 MPH and does it with ease. The stepped hull makes a huge difference and the Eddie Marine trim tabs makes it super smooth. The steering is so smooth you can tell it's all new. The gel coat paint job is 100% custom from nose to tail and anyone who see's it compliments it repeatedly.
