2001 Corsair F-28R The Corsair 28R is an easily trailerable sport boat because of its light weight and low profile on the trailer. As with other Corsair trimarans, the transition from trailering to sailing only takes about 30 minutes. The Corsair 28R has a roomy, functional interior with all the necessary amenities for comfortable overnight cruising. There are sleeping accommodations for four, a galley area with two-burner stove, stainless steel sink, fresh water tank and pump, and a marine head with privacy curtain and a holding tank. Seat / bunk cushions are standard and are available in over 40 colors and patterns, or may be covered with customer-supplied fabrics as desired. The R model sports a taller but lighter weight rotating carbon fiber mast of airfoil section. The mast is raised or lowered using the installed winch on the trailer. This is a straight forward operation that can be accomplished easily in a few minutes, even with only one person. The carbon fiber mast of the Corsair 28R has the double advantage of being more efficient and powerful on the water and of less weight for easy handling on the trailer. The rudder pivots up 180-degrees for trailering. This and the fully retractable daggerboard also enables the 28 to pull in close to shore and anchor in knee-deep water, or even put the Corsair 28 onto a sandy beach. The rugged dual axle galvanized steel trailer will provide many miles and years of trouble free trailering. Surge brakes, lights and spare wheel are provided. Sails offered by Corsair are Mylar-based "Tape Drive" sails by UK Sailmakers. These feature a Technora scrim and a system of Polyester and Kevlar tapes arrayed along the natural lines of stress in the sail material. The carbon mast has an airfoil-shaped cross section and is supplied by the Omohundro Company of Minden, Nevada. The 28R also features a roller furling / reefing boom, which has proved very popular on earlier Corsair trimarans such as the F-27. Also had an alcohol stove, porta potty, bimini top. HERE IS A CORSAIR F 27 FOR SALE. THIS CORSAIR WAS FLIPPED IN A 120 MPH MICROBURST STORM WHILE AT ANCHOR. THE MAST IS BROKEN,AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE STBD LOWER CHAINPLATE IS ALSO BROKEN OFF AT THE DECK. OTHERWISE IN GOOD CONDITION. There are some minor fiberglass repairs needed as well,such as port fwd anchor chock,and where the mast step is attached.(photos included) There are no structural issues outside of what is mentioned. the folding struts for the crossarms are unaffected. sails are in good condition main,jib,spinaker..main has one small l shaped tear 3"x3" wiring needs to be replaced,as well as electronics/lights. there is not much there too replace,as it is a simple electrical system. TRAILER IS INCLUDED WITH 1 YEAR OLD TIRES. long distance trailering would require the bearings to be inspected. 8 hp Nissan 2 stroke outboard is included,not sure if it runs,but turns over. feel free to call,or email for questions 305 780 1766. thank you for looking.

2008 Corsair 37 Zhuka is Corsair 37 RS Carbon sailing trimaran. This is a fantastically well maintained boat that has seen very little race wear. She stays on the hard for 4-5 months every year and there is nothing that needs attention before sailing again.
