1986 Custom Tugboat One of only 3 made, and the last one known in existence. Built in Alabama and originally commissioned a pusher tug, this vessel in 2006 has now since been refitted as a pleasure boat. Its a one of a kind "Eye Catcher". This tugboat can be used commercially or just for fun

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 2015 California Electric Boat Cruiser - Restored Custom Tugboat Self-Powering from Solar Panels Fully Restored in 2015 This custom cruiser originally had a Volvo Diesel but has been transformed into electric. The cruiser now has a GE motor installed, which is brand new with only a few hours on it. The motor mount has been custom built to fit the Volvo Transmission it originally had. The hull is made out of wood but has been fiberglassed over by professionals. The Hull is from 1991 but has been fully restored in 2015.The electronics are new including the Solar Panels. The tugboat can be charged from the Shore power BUT it can also be powered from the energy collected from the Solar Panels.The battery life is about 5 hours but with the solar panels you receive an estimated 4 extra hours of battery life. The stainless steel on the boat is all custom work and the seats have been recently reupholstered. Maneuvering this boat is very easy especially with the Bow Thruster system that has been installed. The sound system is fully waterproof and has a pioneer stereo system in the house. There are two speakers in the house and two speakers hanging from the stainless steel outside. All the metal cleats around the boat are stainless steel. The tugboat also includes: (8) new life vest that have never been used, (4) new booies with rope, (3) new dock lines, an anchor and new anchor rope. You have the option to control and steer the boat from inside the house or outside on the deck. There is a total of (8) batteries, which are wired in-series. The batteries are used for the 48V and 12V system. The fridge is perfect to keep all your beverages cold while cruising with friends and family. Fully Custom One-of-a-Kind Tugboat Yacht Cruiser:Self-Powering from Solar Panels Fully Restored in 2014-2015 Motivated Seller and willing to Negotiate on price! Reason for selling: Unfortunately, I can not bring this to New York City as I got a new job and will be moving. From 2014-2015 I have restored the entire boat. The boat has new fiberglass and brand new electronics. Even though it was built back in 1989 it has been fully restored! The original owner spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to create this one of a kind Tugboat. The original hull is made out of wood but the entire boat is fiberglassed over by hand. There has been thousands of man hour's in labor in creating this ONE of ONE tugboat. Originally I had a Volvo Diesel in it but recently transformed the tugboat into electric. The boat runs faster than most harbor cruisers and is very quite. Brand New GE motor and industrial system D-C motor. The motor mount has been custom built to fit the barely used Volvo Transmission. The engine runs great and is brand new. All the electronics are brand new including the Solar Panels. This tugboat can be charged from the Shore power BUT it can RUN FULLY from the power collected from the Solar Panels on top of the roof. The battery life is about 5 hours but with the solar panels you get an estimated 4 extra hours of battery life, so the total Battery Life becomes about 9 hours of fun! The seats are custom built to the stainless steel and are Brand New as well. The original owner had the Stainless Steel Frame custom built, which has been valued around $60,000. The horns are connected to (2) 5-gallon air compressor tank. There are THREE bilge pumps to ensure water stays out of the boat and also has an automatic setting to ensure water stays out when you are away. Maneuvering this boat is very easy especially with the $10,000 Bow Thruster system. The tugboat was originally 18 ft but extended 6 extra feet to give it a more unique look (Now a total of 24 ft in length). The paint job is only 4 weeks old! Brand new tinted windows. Also, comes with 8 brand new life vest that have never been used, 4 brand new booies with rope, 3 new dock lines, an anchor and new anchor rope that is included. The boat turns on by a key.
