1988 Mainship Mediterranean Convertible
The Mainship 35 Convertible was produced from 1988 thru 1994 and was built on a solid fiberglass modified V hull. INFATUATION has the original single stateroom lay-out with a comfortable island double berth forward in the master stateroom. The salon area is immense with a convertible dinette that sleeps two and a settee. The aft cockpit has a ladder for access to the fly bridge and transom door for ease of boarding from the swim platform.
This boat has several recent upgrades, including a new refrigerator and microwave in the galley. They galley floor has also been recently re-covered. The swim platform on the transom has been completely reworked, and the flybridge has a full canvas enclosure with Isinglass windows that was new in 2014.
Entering the boat from the stern, there is a large aft deck. The large main salon is accessed through a tinted sliding glass door. To port is the boat's electrical system and entertainment sytem, as well as a convertible settee and dinette. To starboard are two comfortable captain's chairs and the boat's galley.
Forward of the salon is the main cabin and head. The head is to port, and features a sink and separate shower stall with hot and cold pressurized water. There is also an electric marine head. Just forward of the head is the main cabin, which features a very large centerline berth and ample shelving/lockers for storage.
The boat is mechanically sound, and the optional 454ci/350hp engines have been recently tuned up and are in good operational order. The 6.5kw Onan generator was also recently serviced.
The boat is located on the Isle of Palms, just north of Charleston, SC. Her slip is a short ride by golf cart from several restaurants, bars and convenience stores, as well as a pristine Atlantic beach. The ICW is also less than a mile away. The slip is available for rent for the boat's new owners, and a nice electric golf cart will convey with the boat at no extra charge. This boat and slip location offer an excellent platform for weekend getaways or for Air B&B opportunities.

This freshwater boat has one of the largest interior layouts in a boat this size, with a flybridge to match. She has the look of the new Euro-style cruisers.This is a unique layout. There is a large open salon, with the galley up, on the starboard side forward. Going down two steps, the head with separate shower stall is to port, and split bunks to starboard. Going forward is the master stateroom, with a queen size island bed.The nice U-shaped galley is on the main level to be able to enjoy the views aft with Sub-Zero separate refrigerator and freezer under the counter. Microwave, two burner stove, lots of counter space and storage.The boat is equipped with a compass, remote spotlight, trim tabs, a windlass with remote control at the bow, and a heavy duty anchor. The walkways aft are wide, and there are steps on both sides to enter the cockpit. There is a transom door with built-in steps, and a large swim-platform. The salon access is via a large sliding door. The bridge access is by molded in steps. The bridge is large, with two helm chairs, and a large L-shaped couch aft.
