The Beneteau ASA First 22 is an adaptation of the very popular Beneteau First 20. With large cockpit and tiller, it was conceived with sailing schools in mind, with a large cockpit, tiller and small cuddy cabin for stowage. The hull is slippery, with the centerboard allowing access to shallow waters as well as making her a mean sailing machine with the board down. Twin rudders provide stability when heeled.
