The vessel is in good condition, but the interior is a project. The seller does not know the engine hours and is a Yanmar 7HP. It does have shore power. The walls, toilet, sink, and flooring are there. It just needs the right person to give it some love and restore it. Your only limited by your imagination. Stock #243991 28' sloop with trailer, Kenyon Mast & Boom system, needs interior work! Looking for a buyer with a passion to restore this great vessel to its original beauty. She has only ever been in freshwater. This vessel comes with a custom trailer made in 2019 to give you the freedom to take it wherever you desire. The seller started working to restore the vessel and found some rotten wood. He has repaired it, but life happens, and has been unable to get back to finishing it. The parts are there, it is just a work in progress. We have attached current photos as well as a few from before the work started to give you an idea of what it looked like. Bring your offers and imagination and let's give her a good home. Reason for selling is no time and no place for it.

The S2 is in overall good condition for her age. The bottom paint is fresh (2021). The sails are reported in good condition. The outboard started on the first pull. No signs of leaks around hatches or portholes. The teak appears to be in good shape, but needs refinished. There are no electronics. Stock #308981 S2 7.3 designed as a racer/cruiser with masthead sloop rigging, new bottom paint The 1984 S2 7.3 was built in Holland, Michigan by Leon Slikkers, the founder of Slickcraft and Tiara. Designed by Arthur Edmunds, well known for his work with Chris-Craft, Allied, and S2. At 24 feet with an 8-foot beam, the S2 was built as a racer/cruiser but the sloop masthead makes it a very manageable single handling. Her design is sleek and clean with just enough teak to dress her up but not demanding so much time and care that it takes away from why you bought her. The double V berth and 2 straight settee berths will sleep 4. The head is located in the bow under the V berth. She has a small galley with a sink and 15 gallons of fresh water. Reason for selling is no longer using.

1978 S2 8.0B The S-2, built by Tiara Yachts in Holland, Michigan, was considered a high quality boat. Arthur Edmunds designed her for offshore cruising and daysailing. With an OMC saildrive instead of an outboard, docking is much easier. In 2012 a professional mechanic in Traverse City rebuilt the engine. Tying The Knot has her own trailer so she can be taken to distant destinations quickly.

1986 S2 Yachts 9.2 What can you say when you walk aboard a well maintained boat for the first time. The "Jubilee" is one of those vessels that has been taken care of at a very high standard. Everything from stem to stern has been paid attention to and looks really great. The boat has spent it's entire life here on Lake Erie and has enjoyed a quiet existence. Absolutely one of the best specimens I have ever seen. Why not? Come take a look!
