1985 CAL MK II The Cal 35 is a great US-built classic dual purpose boat. If you choose to sail inshore or offshore, the Cal 35 is up to the task, and she has a nice turn of speed for club racing. Designed by Bill Lapworth, she is essentially a scaled down CAL 39 with improved windward performance. CALs were quite innovative for their day; they are some of the earliest examples of what have come to be known as performance cruisers--boats with moderate displacement, a longish waterline, fin keel and high efficiency rudder. The generous accommodations include a master stateroom forward that can be closed off from the main cabin for true privacy. It features an extra large V-berth with generous storage underneath, a large hanging locker and additional cabinet and drawer space. It is very airy with a large hatch overhead and two ports on each side. The full enclosed head with large separate shower is to starboard and it is a must for a true cruiser.

1980 CAL Yachts Cal 35 MK II The CAL 35 is a classic cruiser, designed by Bill Lapworth to be safe,  comfortable, strong and fast. The current owners cruised form San Diego through the Panama Canal to Southwest Florida.  Moonshine a documented vessel sails beautifully at any point of sail and is easily handled.  She can be a live aboard or long term cruiser that really can go anywhere!   Her sister ships are found all over the world.   Moonshine is solid, spacious (6 4 headroom) and comfortable with lots of storage.  Systems have been kept simple for easy maintenance.   The large lazarettes allow easy access to the  engine.  The Universal Diesel burns almost no oil and the large heat exchanger was professionally cleaned last year.   The boat has many recent upgrades, (refrigeration, standing/running rigging,  electric panel, etc)  and full maintenance records are available.   A complete inventory of spares is available upon request.  Roll-up inflatable dinghy and engine are included.

1983 CAL MK II Godspeed is a great boat built by a quality builder! She's equipped with roller furling on the genoa. She has a Yanmar diesel engine for safety, longevity and an always-starting engine. This engine will just sip fuel and therefore you'll only need to fill up once a year at the pump. There are solar panels for charging the batteries. The decks appear to be solid without any structural problems. The autopilot does not operate, however. Come see Godspeed and sail her away today!
