1969 CAL Sloop This limited model Cal 34 was one of 10 built by Jensen Marine in California on special order. This model has 2 hatches in the main salon, 4' draft, extra laminates of fiberglass in hull & larger than standard ice box. An excellent sailing vessel, the Cal 34 is found at many distant ports. "Cabaret" is in exceptional condition, up-dated and modified to cruise in comfort with many features usually found on lager vessels. 1987 Cal Yachts Sloop, Amici sleeps 4 adults in forward berth and on the two side settees. Marine type II head located under the forward berth. There is 5 gal fresh cold water tank with hand pump at small galley sink with room for small portable gallery stove next to sink. All running lights with AGM battery.I have used her for the past 10 years to teach beginning ASA 101 Basic Keelboat classes. I am in the process of replacing her with a new Beneteau First 22. She has been maintained in good condition. She will need some work on her teak and a good wax job. Ratherwise, she is ready to sail away. She is an excellent, fun, day sailer. Complete removal of the interior for refit replacement, have all new and old interior parts, over 14 drawers all stained and poly lacquer sprayed, new sub floors, 3 new stainless steel water tanks for below floor, new s.s. bow rail, binnacle helm and sails are original along with Kelly green dodger but no frame. Bulkheads are original as is the built-in counters, V-berth area is mostly intact along with plumbing and old wiring or designe it with your own layout, lookup a Cal 36 on Yachtworld's listings, they have 12 to 16 at most times to get ideas on layout versions. Engine was removed and junked, again you may find an engine or add an outboard on a transom bracket. This sloop would make a comfortable and inexpensive live aboard as you complete the interior to your liking. The price is less than what was offered for the mast and running rigging, $3500 takes it all. Listed locally so listing may end before end of time allotted.
