1999 Catalina 36 MkII This Catalina 36 is in Fantastic Condition and feels like a much larger yacht. Her beam, generous cockpit, and open saloon give the impression that she is 40'. Yet she is priced much less than your typical 40 footer. "Minor Details" is nicely outfitted and represents a great value for both size and equipment. 1984 Catalina 30 The LIBERTY is a good example of the Catalina 30 which is one of the most popular sailboats ever produced with over 6,000 built from 1976 through 2008! Built in 1984, she is the "Mark I" version and has the "standard" Catalina 30 sailplan, draft and interior layout. The LIBERTY does feature a very good maintenance protocol over the years. She was repowered in 2005 with a UNIVERSAL M3-20B diesel that has only a few hundred hours logged since then. Her Dark Blue SUNBRELLA dodger and Bimini top are in nice shape. The relatively new GARMIN 700 GPS is a nice update as well. "Clean and simple" does have it's merits and especially at the relatively-low asking price! Acquired by her present Owner in the Spring of 2014, the LIBERTY's Survey provided a good report that resulted in a purchase .. so that fact alone does take a lot of risk factors out the process of acquiring a boat of her vintage. Presently stored at our Brewer Yacht Yard facility in Mamaroneck, NY, the LIBERTY is easy to inspect. 1984 Catalina Tall Rig This Catalina 30' is located in Bridgeport, CT. and can only be seen by appointment. It is currently on the hard and is set to launch in May. "Sea Dog" has an efficient fin keel and large balanced rudder combined with a long horizontal skeg which insures excellent control and tracking ability under sail or power. The deck provides security for the crew with molded in nonskid, high cockpit coamings, double lifelines and pulpits. The anchor locker is recessed into the foredeck. Below is a carefully planned and amazingly spacious interior for a 30' boat. There are berths for seven, including the unique large aft double berth. Forward is a comfortable double cabin, with shelves and a large overhead hatch. Just aft is a generously proportioned head area with molded in shower pan. The aft galley has a top loading ice box and large double sinks. The navagation station is like those found on much larger yachts, providing storage for charts and navagation equipment. Storage space aboard this Catalina 30' is abundant and well planned. All shelves in both cabins have teak sea rails to keep things in place. Forward, opposite the head, is a generous hanging locker and chest of drawers. Beneath all seats and berths are easily accessible compartments for larger gear and supplies. Her sail inventory includes New Mainsail (2012), Jib & 150% Genoa .
