1988 Crosby Yacht Crosby Striper
This Crosby Striper is in excellent condition. She has enjoyed professional care and looks beautiful cosmetically and in all appearance. Although her Chrysler LM 318 gasoline engine is original, it has been well maintained and it is reported that it runs well and smooth. Currently available here at our Yard in Osterville for inspection; this is indeed how a modern classic should look.

OYSTER SLOOP - 1980 21' "WESTWIND" GAFF RIGGED, INCLUDES TRAILER AND DINGHYOWN A PIECE OF HISTORY !!! "Westwind" is in the water, commissioned and prepared forday travelling - she currently cruises in Oyster Bay, NY and is a great seaworthy sloop. She is a wonderfully kept mahogany over oak oyster sailboat, developed for Kitty Mellon by Crosby Boat Works in Cape Cod in 1979, and introduced in 1980 in Barnstable, Ma.. She is a charming tiller boat with a striking black hull- a sight to witness. This oyster sloop was made for superficial water - such as bays, creeks, etc.." Westwind " was based upon the design of "Mystic "Annie" which is a 1880 Sandbagger yacht located in Mystic, Connecticut.
Equipped with a Mercury 5 hp gas engine , gorgeous bronze fittings and a brand new deck developed with top grade marine plywood w Dynel covering (workmanship carried out by Andrew Nanacheck in Boothbay, Maine). There is a tiller, barn door rudder and freeboard determining 12". She has a complete suit of sails (2 sets of main and jib - one set is dacron and the other is Egyptian cotton).
