2002 Cruisers Yachts 3870 Express The classic and sleek lines of the Cruisers 3870 Express (called the 3870 Esprit in 199899) made for one of the more innovative interiors seen in a boat of this size. A scaled-down version of the companys 4270 Esprit (19982003), whats notable about the floor plan of the 3870 is her unique amidships stateroom with its standup dressing area, built-in TV, and a private head with shower. The wide-open salon includes a convertible sofa/dinette and a full-service galley with all the amenities. A privacy door forward sepearates the island berth from the main cabin. You also have a bulkhead door to insure privacy in the aft stateroom. Notably, the main head contains a separate stall shower. Topside accommodations include an L-shaped lounge opposite the helm, a U-shaped seating area aft, and a built-in wet bar to port. A hatch in the cockpit sole provides access functional and accessable engine compartment, and the deep swim platform is designed to support a personal watercraft. Powered by the Yanmar 6LYA-STP 370hp and 703 hours with V-drives you will cruise at 22 knots and top out in 28 knots. There is an enclosed head w/shower in the VIP stateroom. This boat is powered by reliable Mercruiser 7.4L Bluewater engines. These engines are closed cooled and boast 310 hp each.
