General Description Hylas Yachts (a brand of fiberglass), who’s US headquarters is based in Marblehead, MA, has been helping clients build semi-custom yachts for over twenty years, under the name Hylas Yachts USA. Hylas Yachts’ center-cockpit sailboats are built in Taiwan by Queen Long Marine Ltd and designed by Sparkman & Stephens and German Frers. Each vessel is distinct, with sizes ranging from 42 to 70 feet, and features the original owners personal touch.
Few builders in the world, today, allow owners the freedom to customize the interior, or develop upgrades of their own liking.Actual Condition This beautiful vessel has just been returned to the Bank.
It is reported Montrachet is in very good overall condition. The boat looks clean. The hull is of solid fiberglass. The fin keel consists of lead bolted on molded lead. The rudder is foam cored FRP with a stainless steel rudderpost securely fastened into the boat.
It is also reported the vessel interior is in very good condition and has a large berth area with a large bunk, hanging locker, and cabinetry. The main salon is also very large. The navigation station is to the port side and galley to starboard. There is also an aft cabin with a very large berth for two, with an adjoining head/shower. Actual ConditionVessel broke loose from its mooring and washed ashore. Boat has damage to keel, hull, and mast. Bottom has major damage. Trailer appears to be in good working condition.
We highly suggest inspecting vessel before bidding for unseen damages.

1975 Pearson Sloop

Actual ConditionThis vessel has been completely restored: new ALG paint on hull and decks, interior, sails, and electronics were all updated. When the vessel was placed in the water, the sink hose was not connected, and took on water throughout the cabin.
We highly suggest inspecting vessel before bidding for unseen damages.

EnginesIt was reported that the engine was updated prior to sinking. It is also reported that the vessel was washed down and the engine was pickled.

Actual ConditionThe insured was under way and struck an object causing damage to the keel. The hull is in fair condition for the year. There are 2 sails on the vessel. Vessel will make a great day sailer with some minor repairs.

1985 Pearson Sloop

General Description Built to the same high standards of larger Pearson Yachts, the Pearson 25 provides ample headroom and live-aboard spaces, without taking on a 'layer cake' look. This boat is a chaser design, and offers a level of performance and styling associated with many of the smaller sleeker racers. Actual Condition It is reported that while at its mooring, high winds and seas caused the vessels’ outboard engine to fall off its attachment to an outboard bracket after stress damaged the bracket, as well. At the same time, it appears that the vessel lost its rudder.The hull and topsides appear in good condition. This looks like a great project boat for a sailor!
