2005 Hunter 27 This sweet little Hunter looks and feels like a new boat - at the fraction of the price. What's not to love about this yacht? She sails like a dream, has a huge cockpit, and arrangements to comfortably sleep two couples (or a family) below. All her gear is in impeccable working condition - she needs absolutely nothing except for a de-winterization. You could be the first person on the water in the spring... She'll be great for entertaining, dockside and at anchor, with easy access to the swim platform, a large head, and efficient galley. Come time to get those sails out and the wing keel/tall rig combination should put a smile on everybody's face. Time to head home? Fire up the Yanmar diesel, you'll be there in no time. What else? Decks were painted at Larsen Marine this December (2016). She's shrink-wrapped, storage and launch are paid. A survey from last month is available to interested buyers (survey values the boat at $41,000.00) She's a great boat at a great price. Come inspect her and make an offer.

Manufactured by Whittaker Corp., this is a classic Alan Payne design and one of the Columbia "wide-body super cruisers". It debuted around 1976. It was first built by Whittaker at the Chesapeake plant only.
Purchased in 2004, this is only the second owner. Always sailed on Lake Michigan. It has beautiful teak interiors in very good shape, was re-upholstered, and had a new transmission put in in 2010. Sailed actively around Lake Michigan while family had younger children.
