Race ready with numerous top finishes and all the upgrades and gear you’d need to compete at the highest level of Etchells racing. The boat is a 2002 Pacesetter (Australia). It is a light, stiff, fast boat and has been extremely competitive. This is the second owner who stores it indoors in Chicago IL. First owner was out of Long Island Sound and did mostly local stuff. Current owner raced the boat locally in Chicago but also did several Jaguar cups, North Americans and the World Championships with good results.

This is a special, custom built Sabre 386, there is no other sistership like this one. Originally built for a Sabre dealer’s personal use in Massachusetts, this model was modified to custom specification and has many upgrades. The current owner has taken great care of the vessel and added a number of new sails to increase performance while racing and cruising. It has been in fresh water since 2010 in a climate that allows only 5-6 months of use per season. This particular model is designed for someone who appreciates the classic Sabre high-end quality inside and out, but still wants a boat that sails extremely well.
