The Chris-Craft Hercules flathead engines well maintained
Interior wood has been refinished and is in very good condition.
The Chris O Matic electro-hydraulic shifting system was removed and a lever rod and bell crank system was installed. The "Crash I matic" was an optional upgrade and proved to be a terrible system. This conversion was done by most owners.
According to the seller, this made the boat one of the best slow-speed maneuvering boats he had ever driven given its large twin screws, engines with ample torque at idle, large twin rudders placed directly aft of the props and Paragon transmissions.
She's very easy to maneuver in a crowded marina.
Hull has been treated with high-tech polymers. (Sani-Tred)

Chris-Craft built 170 Continental 23's in their post War run, between 1956-1958.
They measured 22'7" with a beam of 7'11" and a 23" draft. The extra seat behind the driver's seat was an option available for this boat. This boat is in good shape, however, a bit of wear and tear is visible.
The vessel is in good mechanical condition - She does need some work. - After some love and TLC, this one would be the perfect runabout. Perhaps for on LAKE TAHOE?!
