Options include wakeboard tower, bimini and boat cover, with efi Moomba introduced the Outbacks hull in 2003, and ever since, weve been impressed with its slalom wakes. From recreational line lengths of 15 off all the way to a shortline of 35 off, the wakes are soft and small, barely rising above the surface level of the water as the Outback races along at tournament speeds in the 30s. To create the hull, Moomba engineers used their instinctive feel for the water and expertise in boatbuilding, rather than any computer-assisted design. The deep keel, negative chines, lifting strake and 12-degree deadrise all contribute to the handling, stability and smooth wake.
