THe boat is solid all around. No flexing on the floor. The hatches are strong too. The transom is solid and secured. The bilge is clean as well as the fish boxes. The upholstery is in good condition, and gauges and electronics are working properly. The canvas on the top is in good condition too. The cabin is in good shape. The headliner is a little loose, but in OK condition. The windows were replaced and sealed. The bow rail has a couple of bents on the starboard side. The trailer appears to be in good condition, only missing the fenders. Stock #348654 Solid walkaroud fishing boat that's been maintained and upgraded! Family-friendly Excel 23 fish, ready for a new home. This particular boat comes with recent updates and a 2005 engine. As you step inside, you are protected by high gunnels. A very dry ride on this boat. There is seating mid-ship. On the floor, you get 2 big fish boxes, and behind the captain's chair, you get a livewell. The seller added a saltwater washdown here too. At the helm, the dashboard has been updated, and everything is easy to locate and operate. All of the switches are working as well as the gauges. The GPS screen double as a fishfinder too. The exterior of the 1991 Scarab is in good condition, stored away to make sure there is no sun damage. The Interior of the cabin is in good condition as well, nice clean seating areas as well as the bed/sleeping area. Everything has been kept up to date Stock #287430 1991 38 Scarab with twin 572 Pfaff recent rebuilds (2019). The boat has always been garage kept. This 1991 Scarab 38 Excel is in great condition with little to no wear and tear. It is an older boat but it has been kept up very nicely. Re-build records for just about everything that has been worked on. Both of the engines have been rebuilt in 2019. It runs really smooth and has very little hours on it since the rebuild. The inside has two bench seats on either side for multiple guests to sit comfortably and can even be used for sleeping for overnight stays. You also get a nice sized V-Berth at the bow of the boat. The head is spacious and has a sink and is located by the entryway steps into the cabin. There is a Bimini included, just not attached in the pictures. The seller reports all systems are operating. The external hull and gel coat appear to be in good condition. The cabin ceiling material is showing a bit of age, and the cushions have repair tape in several places. Stock #360643 Excel 24 powered by a 200HP Johnson motor, baitwell and live well. This is a good example of the 1995 Wellcraft Excel 24. The owner loves its excellent ride qualities and finds the investment he made in the Feruno GPS with plotter, fishfinder, and depth readout very well worth it. The anchor has an electrically-operated winch, which makes life easy for the captain and the crew! And communications via the VHF radio are enhanced by a CB radio.
