this boat was sold thru ins co as a water damage but all we had to do was to charge the battery .we had the boat for three years . it has a fuel injected mercury 90 engine which runs great. the boat has a clear title but the trailer has a pa salvage title . This is a 1996 Larson 174 SEI runabout powered by a 4 cylinder 3.0L Mercruiser engine with an Alpha One drive. The boat is 17’ in length, has a 7’6” beam, weighs 1500 lbs, and has a capacity of 8 persons. The boat features a full gauge package including volt, engine temperature, oil pressure, speedometer, tachometer,and fuel, horn, bilge pump, navigation lights, blower, 5 stainless steel cleats, ski-tow hook, transom boarding ladder, in-floor ski locker, 4 drink holders, bimini top, Boss stereo w/ MP3 port, and glove box. The Trailmaster bunk trailer is also included and has 14 inch tires (weather checked), a tongue jack, and side guides. The boat is in average condition for the year; the hull is solid and has some scratches & scuffs and is faded in some areas. Some of the interior has been recovered and the driver and passenger seats, and side bolsters are cracking. The rear bench seat base had been reinforced with additional wood due to it being soft. Part of the floor is soft behind the bucket seats and in front of the rear bench. Under the rear bench the floor is also soft. The engine starts and runs well and the drive shifts into forward and reverse. The trailer is solid, the bearings have been greased and the lights are operational. The boat and trailer have a clear title. Michigan 6% sales tax is due regardless of state of residency. The boat can be viewed by appointment only during normal business hours. Trailer is tandem axle with surge brakes and new bunks installed last year. Boat has only been used in fresh water at Lake Mead. Boat is powered by 5.7 volvo penta engine with volvo sx outdrive. Has had fluids changed and winterized every year. New alternator, blower, bilge pump, and fuel pump installed last year. Engine compartment has pressurized fresh water storage, grey water storage, water heater, two marine batteries (3 years old), built in battery charger, and dual switch battery control. The cabin/galley is very spacious with plenty of headroom for a full size adult to stand and walk around without hitting their head on ceiling. Galley has microwave oven, refrigerator, electric cooktop, pressurized sink with hot water, pioneer stereo system (6 disk CD, 4 6x9, one 12 inch sub woofer, and connections for satellite radio, remote control, and dual amps), AC/DC power control switches with battery indicator. There is a flush toilet system with hot water shower combination that was flushed clean and hasn't been used for over 10 years. Toilet/shower area has a built in shelf for added storage that can be removed if you choose to use this amenity. Boat has large V-birth sleeping area in the bow with a padded mattress comparable to the size of a queen mattress and allows two full size adults to sleep comfortably. Sleeping area converts to a table with padded bench seating for 4-6 people. There is an additional sleeping area with a full size mattress towards the rear of the boat that I currently use for additional storage of chairs and popup shade awning. Has 2 bimini tops that provide shade for the entire upper seating area.
