This 1966 Alberg 30 is in okay condition. It did sustain some minor damage from Hurricane Harvey. The dock caused some damage to the port side top edge of deck which has been repaired. It is being remodeled following many of the self-sufficient and simplification recommendations of world traveler and Alberg 30 enthusiast, James Baldwin. Current Projects: painting interior. Exterior deck needs to be repainted with Awlgrip. The cabin does need cosmetic modifications but appears to be solid structurally. Stock #096821 Classic Alberg 30 - A true blue water boat. This exact model of sailing vessel has famously taken many sailors around the world. 1982 Whitby Ketch Center Cockpit This meticulously maintained Whitby 42 is a turn-key vessel that is used regularly. She's only had two owners and is ready to take her next owner to the Bahamas or anywhere you may want to cruise. Since 2008, Voyager II has been constantly upgraded to be made a safe and very comfortable cruising platform. In 2009 all of her interior and exterior teak was taken down to bare wood and refinished. Virtually every system has been overhauled or replaced. Experienced cruisers will appreciate the legendary comfort of the Whitby 42 coupled with easy to maintain comforts for cruising. When updates were added to Voyager II, long term maintenance and reliability were top priority. Only the best equipment has been installed for easy cruising. 1967 Whitby Alberg 37, Hull #18 of this Classic Ocean Cruiser. I have owned the boat for almost 20 years and it is now time to find her a new home. It has been well maintained and is sailed regularly. All equipment is functional and for someone who wants a sturdy, sound sailboat, she is well priced to sell. Now based on Marco Island, Florida, she has cruised the Northeast, Canada and the Caribbean. Isuzu MD3 engine with ZF transmission. Lube oil change pump. Wheel steering is Whitlock rack & pinion (no quadrants or cables!) with integral drive for the Autohelm autopilot from Raymarine. Electronics are Raymarine radar and GPS., wind, depth, boat speed, etc. Marine VHF, FM stereo CD player, Ipod connection linked to internal and cockpit speakers. High output alternator, with Balmar regulator, Link 20 battery monitor for house and start battery banks., Xantrex Freedom 10 charger/inverter.Stove in good condition with twin propane tanks located under cockpit seat. One of the weak links on any Whitby 42 is a undersized rudder. The owners have addressed this issue by enlarging the boats rudder following the original designer( Ted Brewer) guidelines and keeping the upgrade inline with design specs of the rest of the steering gear.
