1987 Freedom 36 Broker’s Comment: This 1 owner Freedom 36 has always been berthed in Erie at Erie Yacht Club. It has only been used in fresh water. Her owner is principally a Day Sailor. Freedom Yachts are very easy to sail single handed. With all controls lines lead aft to the cockpit, a deep-roached mainsail drives her easily and her self-tending jib makes tacking easy. Her fin keel allows for a quick turning radius and easy maneuvering in crowded marinas. Her carbon Fiber Mast eliminates rig tuning and her wide side decks are free of obstructions. Lazy Jacks handle the main with ease. She sails well in all conditions and is a stiff boat in heavy air and seas. Below she is very roomy for a mid-thirties vessel.
