Also, featuring a Corsa port and starboard performance exhaust system that can be turned on or off. Just this feature new is $15,000.00. Legit 55mph boat that gets on plane very fast. I am the original owner, and have taken very good care of this clean boat from waxing it to bow to stern. The boat has either been garaged or under two different covers for the boat, one a bikini top and the other a $1100.00 custom made hunter green Sunbrella cover that matches the boat. The boat has a custom made wake board tower installed by the dealer with a permanent T-Top made inside the tower with black canvas cover. It is very quality and heavy duty. Must see the entire boat to truly appreciate. The interior is in great shape and all pics were taken September 2014--what you see in pics is what you get. 6 speaker Clarion stereo w/CD. Has a head with a porta potty. A GPS made by Garmin 400 model- 2010. Two bolster seats that raise up and down and front to back. All of the interior is like new, along with the cover hood over the motor. Exterior of boat has a few marks/scratches as most 14 year old boats will and in no way affect boat performance. This boat is really the sweet spot of smaller "go-fast" boats. It can run in the high 60s but gets 2 mpg in the 50s. It sounds awesome with the Corsa selectable exhaust, but can be quiet down, too. Bigger boats are much harder to tow and get much worse fuel mileage. Smaller boats just can't handle seas as well. This particular boat has all the options you should want on a 28ZX. The Corsa selectable exhaust sounds awesome but also can quiet the boat down with the flick of a switch. The engines are the easy to work on and reliable 350 MAG MerCruisers and their 300 hp doesn't push Bravo 1's too hard. These are the Bravo 1 Performance models with low water pickup. K-planes are much bigger tabs for better control. The boat has external hydraulic steering instead of using the standard teleflex. It also has tab and drive indicators, so you have a direct and instant visual of the position of the tabs and drives. I've had the boat for 2 years and have taken meticulous care of it. The engines have had oil changes, water pump rebuilds and both thermostats have been replaced. The engines have about 325 hours on them, and they're still going strong. Stereo with separate amp with Polk Audio speakers in the cabin and in the cockpit along with dual Polk 12" subs under the back seat. Comes with a rock solid Pacific Galvanized trailer. The Chaparral 267 SSX is in good condition. The trailer is serviceable. It needs new tires. The owner states that everything works as expected on the boat except the following: The secondary stereo control console on the stern above the swim deck is not working. The halon fire extinguisher in the engine compartment probably needs to be replaced. Stock #343121 Performance and comfort in one luxurious package! SSX 267 with underwater lights, powered by a 300HP Volvo Penta with only 173 hours! Chaparral is known for quality boats built by skilled craftsmen. Stainless steel is used throughout for all fittings and fixtures. The owner has enjoyed the power and performance, ease of control, fuel economy, and creature comfort features of his boat. He finds it easy to operate and loves the incredibly cool-sounding Corsa "Captain's Call" exhaust diverter. Driving the boat is easy with the power steering and excellent visibility from the cockpit. For the passengers, comfort and convenience are key. This deck boat has excellent ergonomic design features, including top-quality seating for up to 13 people, flowing lines, numerous stainless steel cup holders, and compartments for storage. A triple-position stern seat is reversible to connect everyone on board with those on the integrated fiberglass swim platform or in the water. It easily converts into a large sun pad. There is also a head that has a marine toilet, sink, countertop, and porthole. The cockpit area has a fitting for the portable cocktail table and galley-style sink with a solid countertop. The bow seating area also has a fitting for the cocktail table. A pressurized hand shower can be found in the stern near the large swim platform. The boat also has a large Bimini to provide sun protection. A stern door separates the swim platform from the passenger area. Likewise, there is a door and windshield pass-through to access the bow seating area. The bow area door is recessed when not in use. The stern and bow each feature stainless steel ladders for easy access to the deck from the water or beach. For the captain and first mate, dual premium bucket seats, with bolsters are included. The cockpit has gauges for all systems and controls for the horn, lights, engine trim, and the Captain's Call exhaust diverter. A Garmin 541s chart plotter/depth finder is included. A lockable glove box is included on the left side of the cockpit. For water sports fun, the boat has a ski tow hook and more than sufficient power and maneuverability to tow skiers and tubers. The large swim platform makes it easy to access the water and return to the deck. There is a large storage compartment under the floor to store skies and water toys. A Sirius satellite radio with AM/FM, CD player, and remote control is also included, featuring high-quality waterproof speakers. Sitting on a deep Vee hull with 23-degree dead rise, the SSX 267 gets on plane quickly and cuts through the chop. Injected closed-cell foam is used in the bottom of the hull for added structural support and sound deadening. Powered by a reliable Volvo Punta 300 HP gas engine with dual counter-rotating props, the boat is strong, tracks extremely well, and is easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The single-engine design results in excellent fuel economy with little or no tradeoff in performance. The engine compartment has an electric hatch lid. There is also a lot of room in the engine compartment which just makes everything easier. Reason for selling is not using it.
