2012 Custom Aspen C90, The 28 C90 is special in so many ways; its pedigree starts with very high expectations in a trailable cruiser. Most power cruising catamarans have misnomers attached, such as pocket or cuddy and are descriptive of what you get; a lot squeezed into a small space. Our designers wanted the trailerability, but not the pocket. This led to many hours of design and full-scale model building, to get all the right elements at the right scale. It is also why the C90 has a 10 beam. This extra width is amazing in its effect on the boat's interior space and sense of size. The design includes Standard a King master, a separate enclosed head with shower and marine head, dinette with sating for 4 converts to Berth, 8 galley with propane stove/oven and refrigerator, 1/4 berth under fully equipped galley, helm seat, 1st mate seat, bow and stern thruster/joystick control, 5 x 9 aft deck with partial sun shade, swim platform, high output stereo, safety equipment, tool set, and royal blue hull. Fully Custom One-of-a-Kind Tugboat Yacht Cruiser:Self-Powering from Solar Panels Fully Restored in 2014-2015 Motivated Seller and willing to Negotiate on price! Reason for selling: Unfortunately, I can not bring this to New York City as I got a new job and will be moving. From 2014-2015 I have restored the entire boat. The boat has new fiberglass and brand new electronics. Even though it was built back in 1989 it has been fully restored! The original owner spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to create this one of a kind Tugboat. The original hull is made out of wood but the entire boat is fiberglassed over by hand. There has been thousands of man hour's in labor in creating this ONE of ONE tugboat. Originally I had a Volvo Diesel in it but recently transformed the tugboat into electric. The boat runs faster than most harbor cruisers and is very quite. Brand New GE motor and industrial system D-C motor. The motor mount has been custom built to fit the barely used Volvo Transmission. The engine runs great and is brand new. All the electronics are brand new including the Solar Panels. This tugboat can be charged from the Shore power BUT it can RUN FULLY from the power collected from the Solar Panels on top of the roof. The battery life is about 5 hours but with the solar panels you get an estimated 4 extra hours of battery life, so the total Battery Life becomes about 9 hours of fun! The seats are custom built to the stainless steel and are Brand New as well. The original owner had the Stainless Steel Frame custom built, which has been valued around $60,000. The horns are connected to (2) 5-gallon air compressor tank. There are THREE bilge pumps to ensure water stays out of the boat and also has an automatic setting to ensure water stays out when you are away. Maneuvering this boat is very easy especially with the $10,000 Bow Thruster system. The tugboat was originally 18 ft but extended 6 extra feet to give it a more unique look (Now a total of 24 ft in length). The paint job is only 4 weeks old! Brand new tinted windows. Also, comes with 8 brand new life vest that have never been used, 4 brand new booies with rope, 3 new dock lines, an anchor and new anchor rope that is included. The boat turns on by a key. Brand new lights, anchor lights, and flood lights. The sound system is fully waterproof and has a pioneer stereo system in the house. There are two speakers in the house and two speakers hanging from the stainless steel outside. All the metal cleats around the boat are stainless steel. You can control and steer the boat from inside the house or outside on the deck. There is a total of 8 batteries which are wired up in series. The batteries are used for the 48V and 12V system. The fridge is perfect to keep all your beverages cold while cruising with friends and family. This boat has been fully restored and is ready for the world to enjoy her beauty. The tugboat just hit the water in Huntington Beach and everything runs perfectly! Local pick ups are allowed and I'm open to ship the tugboat worldwide (on buyers expense.. but willing to negotiate) Boat experts have described this boat as the "Tesla of the waters" ! If you have any questions regarding this beautiful boat please feel free to message me and I will give you my contact number. Reason why I don't list my phone number is because I don't not want spam calls or telemarketers calling. Thank you for the understanding. I'm a very motivated seller and I'm willing to negotiate the price. I want this beautiful, one of a kind, tug to find the right home who will appreciate her beauty.

Per the seller: "She needs cosmetic TLC but is super sturdy and sea-worthy. Without a doubt totally one-of-a-kind vessel. Engine info: Per the seller - "The engine does turn-over fine, but we're having trouble getting her to start. Just haven't had the time to look at it yet. I suspect it's the plugs or fuel injector." The ship is completely unique, hand-built replica of The Spray, famously first single-handed circumnavigation of the globe by Joshua Slocum in 1895-1898. Much love and energy poured into her over the years. Rigging lines will need to be replaced; the engine needs repair. 40K estimated If finished she'd likely bring in 100k+. Upwards of 150k. $90,000 into her and between my partner and I. Thousands of man hours to build her. Its hard to let her go but its best to keep moving forward in life. And be thankful for the experience of learning and creating. As for survey reports, I don't have any on file although she was inspected and passed by Morro Bay Harbor Patrol/Coast Guard to receive a live aboard permit two years ago." She has last hauled out about five years ago so she will need a good bottom cleaning. All through hull valves and fittings were replaced at this time as well as shaft replaced. And bottom painted. NOTE From seller on boat's history --- "The Brier Island was built by hand finished in the year 1976 by Bob White out of Los Osos California. The Hull is built of steam bent Oak ribs wrapped in 1 1/2" Old growth Douglas fir I believe. She has a full keel about 6" thick that I believe is fir as well. The rudder fallows the keel back perhaps 3 x 4 ft with the tiller above deck made of Steele. All the hull fittings were of hot dipped galvanized Steele which so far as I've seen have held up rather well. The entire hull was wrapped in fiberglass at some point. The deck is 3/4" ply covered by 3/4" fir strips wrapped in fiberglass. The fore mast is Doug fir while the aft mast is port Orford cedar. The sail material is canvas sealed with deck stain. I acquired the Island in 2008 where apparently she had been sitting for twenty years. The hull was empty except for the engine and a cot. I rebuilt the cabins a a section of deck that had some rot and with a friend from the San Francisco Maritime Museum, Steve Conklin, devised and hand made all the rigging and mast. And hand shaped and stitched the sails. Replaced the bulwarks with Steele stanchions and Doug fir rails. And fit the bowsprit with a pivoting bolt. We constructed a cage behind the aft cabin to fit the sheet to secured to the frame. I built simple quarters below deck with a bed and small office in the bow and a small galley with about 5'10" of head room. A sink and Coleman stove with cupboards below. Room to seat four at the table with another bunk behind the table. Midship is a port where the fish hold was at one time. Now there sits two fifty gallon tanks with racor filters and two storage lockers. The aft cabin is lined with seating/ storage with two bunks behind-and under the deck. A small bucket bathroom and battery locker for the solar panels are in there as well. The Perkins diesel sits to the rear with a hydraulic transmission that runs the prop. It can be setup to run the windlass as well. Behind the engine are two storage compartments/ engine room. There are two bilge pumps and a CB radio in the cabin and a depth sounder above deck at the helm" Stock #144644 Very Unique ONE-of-a-kind, hand-built replica of the "Spray" famously first singlehandled circumanvigation of the globe by Joshua Slocum in 1895-1898. If you are in the market for a yawl, look no further than this 1976 Custom Built 50 BRIER ISLAND, priced right at $44,500 (offers encouraged). This vessel is located in Morro Bay, California and is in decent condition. She is also equipped with a Perkins engine.
