1992 Yanmar 2GM20F (2 Cyl), Nice Hunter 28 with fractional sailing rig, roller furling head sail with all her winches, traveler and sheets easily handled from the cockpit make her a comfortable single-handed layout for any sailor. This model's stern has the swim platform integrated into the transom with folding swim ladder which makes this boat easy to enjoy on hot summer days if you and your crew want to jump in and cool off. Her gel coat is clean, her bottom is painted blue, her decks are solid and are treated with light grey non skid.She's powered by a Yanmar diesel 18hp engine with very low hours (estimated to be 500). She sips .33 gal per hour and is very economical to operate. She has a bulb winged keel and draws 3 foot 9 inches, which means she can skinny up into almost any anchorage without worry. She's set up with a plow anchor with chain and line, and has a secondary Danforth for emergencies. Her cockpit is very large for a 28 footer. Cushions on either side of the binnacle and wheel, and cushions aft for Skipper and crew behind the helm. Storage lockers beneath cabin seats and starboard cockpit seat.She has a full bimini top.This 28 has a new Garmin 541s chartplotter, and raymarine sailing instrument package, with speed, depth, wind, and a Raymarine autopilot X-5 system in 2012. All looks new and per the seller functions perfectly. Going below, via the entry door and down three sturdy wooden steps is the salon with 6'2" headroom. She sleeps 6 with a full size bed in the aft stateroom two settee sofas in the salon, and a forward V berth. In the salon there is a nice wrap around galley, and the settees wrap around forward in the shape of a "U" for maximum seating. These double as berths and there is a large fold down table in the center of the salon. A small navigation station and electric panel to starboard, shes a very comfortable layout. The aft master has a hanging locker and lighting, and her forward berth is a large V berth that is open to the salon. This makes the berth feel very open due to it's high ceilings, many port holes, overhead hatch and view into the salon and galley from the fore peak. Her head is aft, to starboard with sink, cabinet storage, manual flush toilet, shower wand and port hole for natural light and ventilation. She has wood floors, teak cabinetry, and is rich in color and styleCurrent owner bought her 2 years ago and it has never left the dock since.New battery charger, new bilge pump, new fuel pump and impeller for raw water pump.New standing and running rigging in 2009, has staylock fittings. Accommodations S-2 quality, famous for the quality of their boats. A rare center cockpit 30 footer. A great layout, and a quality boat. As you board the boat, you enjoy first the full canvas enclosure of the cockpit. Almost new, and custom designed by Boat Tailors, it surrounds the cockpit with windows and screens to provide all of the options and protection that you could ask. A great space that adds greatly to the usable space on the boat, Then going below, you notice the traditional look of the newer dark blue upholstery and the quality of the wood work. Starting forward, there is a vee berth. The vee berth, with the filler cushion, is partially open to the salon with a partial bulkhead. There is a large overhead opening hatch, and 2 opening ports. Each side has a shelf for your glasses etc., and reading lights on both sides. Next is the salon, with a centerline folding table. Both sides of the salon have shelves and storage behind the settees, and more storage under the seats. Moving aft along the starboard side, you find the head. It is a amazing head with a separate shower and tub stall (yes, an actual small tub). Roomy and light and very usable. The head extends aft past the companionway. Forward and to starboard of the companionway, we start with the galley. The galley extends along the port side of the passageway to the aft cabin. There is a 2 burner stove top, a S.S. sink and then the icebox. There is currently a microwave on the counter, and the current owner has put a small refrigerator next to it, on what is / was a seat for the nav table. Across from the galley and under the cockpit is the engine, with a completely removeable top, and 2 side panels for ease of access. As you progress down the passage, there are hanging lockers and lot of built-in storage along the side. The aft cabin itself is surprisingly large and airy. Lots of opening ports on 3 sides, plus a large opening hatch overhead. Generous berth, and more storage. Very comfortable cabin. 2001 Precision P28, Great coastal cruiser - Light-weight, fast, shallow draft (3'8") but very comfortable. Fractional Rig set up for single-handed sailing with all running rigging lead to cockpit including 2 reefing points. New bottom paint in April 2106 with new boot stripe and sheer stripes. Hull compounded and waxed in April 2016- shines very well. Boat very clean. New Mainsail cover in May 2016. New starting and house battery in February 2016. Yanmar 2 cylinder diesel looks brand-new and has oil and transmission fluid changed, new belts, raw-water impeller, raw water hoses in February 2106. New exhaust hose in June 2016. Full bimini in fair condition - provides great shade but will not keep you completely dry. Biminis repaired with new eisenglass windows and some zipper repairs in May 2016. All winches cleaned and oiled/greased. Running rigging in good condition. Sails original but in good condition. 150% Genoa on a Harken roller furling. New Jabsco manual toilet in April 2016. New Rule bilge pump in August 2016.Galley includes ice box, Origo alcohol 2-burner cook top, 3 storage drawers below cook-top, and 3 storage compartments above cook-top, single stainless sink with fold-out trash can holder beneath sink.Salon seats 6 easily with room for 4 at centerline fold-up dining table with built in storage on table top. Water heated by 120v AC while at dock or by engine cooling system while underway.Door to private aft berth located port side aft of galley and sleeps 2 adults and has 12v fan, 2 12v lights, small storage locker, 2 opening ports, and air conditioning supply vent.Cockpit includes binnacle mounted compass, 32" steering wheel with traveler mounted just forward of binnacle in cockpit for easy control of main sheet while at the wheel. Instruments include ST60 wind and depth, Humminbird 785C2 Chartplotter. Currently ST60 wind transducer in not working but have plans to repair soon. Connection for VHF RAM Mic located in cockpit. Boat is wired for cable and telephone hookup at the dock but have not verified operating status.
