The overall hull condition looks good for the age of the boat. There are a few minor blemishes expected on a boat of this age and it would benefit from a good polish job. The seller has regularly had a diver go under the boat and clean the bottom as well as inspect for soft spots, etc, and says it is still in good condition. This Carver 390 Aft Cabin is a spacious two-cabin yacht with the capabilities to live aboard or make long-range voyages. The boat's exterior surfaces were in nice shape overall. The bridge upholstery was mostly intact with some nicks apparent, see photos. Electronics were older and will need to be replaced. The bimini is starting to wear but is functional. The cabin spaces, despite being rearranged for service when the photos were taken, are bright, well-appointed, and beautiful. The wood cabinets and wall panels are simply gorgeous. The carpet was replaced in 2023 and the sofa and lounge chair added. The refrigerator was also added and still has the shipping tape inside. Service in 2023 included fluid and filter changes and replacing the aft bilge pump and the batteries. Bottom paint service will be needed. This Carver is in very nice condition overall with lots of upgrades to make this a clean and comfortable full time liveaboard. The starboard engine longblock was replaced (4/22) and has around 120 hours run time. All of the salon flooring was installed in June 2022 (Cortec waterproofed wood and nice carpet in the sleeping quarters). Bottom job completed in June 2022. The electronics package is nice with radar, GPS plotter, and sonar/depth. The gel coat, isinglass enclosure, and all upholstery appear in great condition. The galley fridge and freezer is newer and the microwave was also recently replaced. The aft deck icemaker is inop. Stock #361088 Lots of updates. Newer equipment. Dual engines. The boat has been well maintained, which shows through the current state of needing some TLC. The starboard motor runs strong, and the port motor has a slight fuel issue but otherwise was previously running well. All other systems on board are fully functioning per the seller.
