There were only 50 hulls ever made of the MC 30 and currently there are only 12 documented in the U.S.! This is a lightweight low-fuel burn cat that has a long range. It is powered by twin 70 Suzuki four-stroke engines. At 16 MPH the fuel burn is 4 gallons an hour. It is equipped with a Mase 2.2KW diesel generator. A motor cat can be much more efficient, and hence more environmentally friendly, than a monohull of about the same length and beam. Its beach landing ramp and its ingenious bridge saloon, the MC-30 drop-down boarding ramp is brilliant! The 6' 4" headroom in the cabin makes this catamaran very comfortable with plenty of room for four to sleep! Queen bed and a double folding in the pilothouse. Boat cruises at 28 knots at 2350 rpms, 600 rpms off max of 2950, At 28 knots it burns 19 gph. Optional fuel for a total of 244 gallons makes a long range. simulated teak on covering boards with 6 lee rod holders, leaning post with storage and tackle center built underneath. Underwater lights, led nav lites and spreader lites. Head down below and sleeping for 2. Curtains enclose console. Fighting lady yellow hull color. FOR QUESTIONS CONTACT: STAN 610-751-0035 or This is a 2006 Carolina Classic 28 Express powered by twin Volvo Penta D4 Common Rail Diesels Electronics are northstar 6000i chart plotter, furuno fcv585 bottom machine, simrad autopilot (AP26 I believe). Windlass is a lewmar profish 700, and was replaced 6 months ago. Full enclosure with strataglass windshield was completely replaced within the past 6 months (approx $5000). Also added a Carolina classic helm deck carpet. Engines have always had routine service with logs. Within the past year, we replaced ALL hoses, impellers, and the port engine turbo (preventative maintenance, turbo showed signs of wear).
