Our owner except for the refrigeration and the generator ( 537hrs) offers practically a new vessel. Every piece of equipment and every system has been replaced with new alow and aloft. The new Yanmar engine hour meter shows 40 hours of use. There is an existing full survey performed by Vanderperk Marine Services available acomplished while Distant Drummer III was in the final stages of a most major refit. The yacht was given a BRISTOL rating. The entire hull and rig has just been recently finished with Awl Grip and appropriate varnishes. All sails, rigging, winches and stack pack are new. All electronics, pumps, batteries, bow thruster, the total LED lighting system on deck and throughout the interior are all new.

1984 Ta Chiao CT35 The nicest 1984 Trawler you will ever see. She has a single 135 hp perkins diesel engine that burns 2.5 gallons an hour. Aft cabin has its own head with tub and shower. Forward has two v bunks and seperate head. Main cabin has teak table with seating for 4. Boat is fully air conditioned with reverse cycle heat. The floors throughout the boat are teak and holly, there are duel steering stations. Full fly bridge with an enclosure and can hold 8 people, plenty of storage. See attached pictures. 1982 Ta Chiao CT 44 Please contact owner Patti at 925-325-seven two zero six. Boat is located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a project boat in that the interior and exterior needs a lot of TLC. There are a lot of ways to deal with it, but it depends on your expertise and desire in finish. The interior ceilings in the salon and aft cabin need to be replaced. This is not difficult as the panels are held in place by teak strips, so it is a matter of taking the old panel and using it as a pattern and remounting. (There is a small table saw that goes with the boat.) Water from the mast and traveler damaged the walls. The leaks have been taken care of , but the ceiling and walls have not. The gaskets need to be replaced in the hatches, and the gasket material is there. The floor needs to be refinished, but the good news is that the sole is made of a very thick layer, about 3/8" of teak and holly on plywood. The aft head had the faucets removed and so the plumbing side of that needs to be replaced. There is a generator that may or may not, probably not, work. It is a Lister generator. It takes up the whole cabinet under the companionway. A newer, smaller, quieter one would be better. There is a blackwater system installed. I do not know if the macerator or any of that system is functional. It was when I sold the boat. There is also a desalinator, but I do not know its condition.
