The overall condition of the boat is need some work. The hull could use a detailing, and there were a few scratches and gouges. The flybridge upholstery is in fair condition with a few cracks in it. Some of the Isinglass was damaged during a storm (2022) and the seller has an insurance claim and scheduled canvas company to repair. The sofa's finish is peeling on the left arm/cushion in the salon. The generator is not running, and the seller has never tried to use it. The Trojan 40 MY performance and stability come from the fiberglass hull that possesses a moderate beam, a nearly flat after section, and a shallow keel that provides directional keeping attributes. The two-stateroom layout is arranged with the salon accessed from the cockpit. The galley down from the salon. Forward of the galley, off the companionway, is the enclosed head and forward stateroom. A ladder leads to the flybridge from the aft cockpit area. The flybridge layout consists of two pedestal chairs, the helm, and a passenger bench seat in front of the helm. Entry into the salon is provided via a sliding glass door. The salon area is covered in carpet with a sofa and dining table with chairs. The lower helm station is located to starboard in the salon area and can be hidden in a very clever and stylish cabinet. Windows surround the entire salon area. Aft is the sliding glass tinted door and windows. Forward are three large windows that also have a canvas cover to protect the interior from UV and provide privacy. The galley is a step down from the salon. The galley comes complete with a sink, a fridge/freezer, a 3-burner stove with protective cover, sink, microwave and storage. Forward the galley is an enclosed head to port and the forward stateroom. The enclosed head features a foot-flush toilet, sink with cabinet, a shower and a medicine cabinet with a mirror. 1982 Trojan F 32 Fly Bridge My downsizing can be your upgrade! Fish, dive or cruise this comfortable classic Trojan F-32. Thirteen foot beam gives plenty of stabilitity. Twin Crusader 5.7 liter, 290 hp, freshwater cooled engines installed 2001. Less than 550 hours. Engines are carburetted for ease of maintenance. Each engine has a Perko freshwater flushing valve. Velvet-Drive transmissions also rebuilt with brass clutches in 2001. Four gas tanks with a total of 200 gallon capacity. The flybridge helm with 2 helm seats and a bench seat in front offers great views under canvas bimini. Electronics include Garmin 740s GPS/Sonar combination, plus an additional separate Garmin GPSMap 176C and Lowrance Mark5x DSI fishfinder. There is also an Icom IC-M422 VHF radio. Plenty of storage under the helm for vests, etc. The helm cover was new in August 2016. The cabin is spacious and nicely equipped for longer cruising. It has a roomy master V-berth with closets. The boat features a full head with shower and Raritan electric head with 12 gallon holding tank. There is a macerator with Y-valve to switch from pump out to overboard discharge where permitted. The galley has a microwave oven, two burner electric range, and a new Norcold AC/DC refrigerator in 2016. The comfortable galley table converts to a berth. There is new a Bosch 6 gallon water heater, 2016. In the lazarette is a 40 gallon pressurized fresh water tank. Air conditioning provided by a 16,000 BTU Crusair air conditioner. There is a Fireboy fume detector and an Xintex carbon monoxide detector. It is pre-wired and plumbed for a genset. Carpet and upholstery show some wear. There are separate AC and DC power panels. 1987 Trojan F 36, This Trojan Yacht was built by Bertram Yachts and this one is a fine example of proud ownership. Her classic lines are timeless. Maintained with an open check book, this FRESH WATER boat shows extremely well. Current owner is looking to move up to a 40-42' boat and may consider trades. The original hours are less than 1000, however in 2008 the owner installed two re-manufactured long blocks. 1978 Trojan FDMY “CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE. ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED. General Description This classic 1978 Trojan F44 Flush deck, is a rare find. This is an extremely comfortable yacht that will make an excellent cruiser or live-aboard, with a relatively small investment. Current owner advises that: over $80,000 invested since 2004. Actual ConditionIt is reported by the owner that: ThisTrojan was purchased in 2004, at auction, following a light grounding incident. There was some interior and mechanical damage due to water incursion. All water damaged systems were either replaced or rebuilt, including the Detroit Diesel Engines and Transmissions (4-71 Turbo) and Genset (which was new in 2006). The relatively minor hull damage (approx. 24” breach in bow area, and misc. scrapes along keel and chine) was patched, and is water tight at present.
