In the summer of 2014 the "Bella Ivory" made a 1,000 mile repositioning journey from the Finger Lakes to Sturgeon Bay that included the Erie Canal and Lakes Erie, Huron and Michigan. This voyage was completed without any mechanical failures, thus proving once again that viking vessels with twin screw 410 HP Detroit Diesel engines are very dependable. "Bella Ivory" features a fully enclosed aft deck with wing doors and a centerline queen bed in the aft cabin. She has two full bathrooms/showers plus an over/under bunk bed in the forward cabin. Interior walls feature rich mahogany paneling and brass hardware throughout. A low center of gravity assists in attaining a low 15' 3" bridge clearance. This is a roomy live aboard vessel and one of the finest vintage vessels of its kind. The "Bella Ivory" has had continuous professional maintenance and upgrades since we purchased her as the 3rd owner in 2011.
