The Triton 2690 Walk Around is a boat that has it all. She can do 46 MPH quite easily and cruises beautifully at 25 MPH where fuel economy is fantastic for the 400 horse power that pushes her through the water. Being a 26ft, she can still cruise at the 46MPH speed limit in allowable built up river systems where a slightly larger vessel could not saving time and maximising the features she has to be enjoyed out on the open sea scuba diving and snorkeling in summer, whale watching in winter and fishing all year round. With a galley capable of entertaining 2 adults and 3 children all at once for meals and/or entertaining the kids while mum and dad enjoy the back deck in good weather, or capable of comfortably seating 5-6 in bad weather she has plenty of room for a walk around cabin vessel. The interior flushing toilet and shower inside the separate bathroom complete with sink and lockable door allows for discrete use of the amenities in comfort. Updated wiring was completed using marine wire and circuit breakers for both down riggers and the pot puller. The washdown pump was removed but is included. Time was spent to ensure the GPS and VHF communicate properly enabling the AIS and distress features to function properly. There are a few scratches through the hull wrap consistent with light use. The keel is in remarkably good condition consistent with not being used for beach landings. The trailer bunks are beginning to get soft and may need attention in the coming season. The anchor windlass has light corrosion and missing paint but does not affect its function. There is a very small hole on one panel of the isinglass. Stock #432227 Clean and Well-Equipped! The main and kicker engines steer together from the helm and are controlled using separate controls, allowing for increased maneuverability, almost as good as twin engines. Anchor using the 600' 8 plait rode with galvanized plow anchor and chain. When it's time to move to a new halibut hole, the anchor windlass makes that a breeze too! This boat has nice anti-fatigue rubber flooring installed which is easy to clean and comfortable to stand on. This Hewes Craft is very well outfitted with exceptional electronics typically found in much larger vessels. The large touchscreen Garmin Ecomap and high end Standard Horizon VHF radio communicate providing AIS information through the AIS antenna and broadcast GPS information if needed. The Garmin is also wired to the main engine via NMEA 2000 backbone. These features are very uncommon in vessels this size. All this on an EZ loader trailer with oil bath hubs.
