This vessel is registered in the state of Florida as an Antique and Classic vessel with registration fee of $5.20 / year. We strongly recommends that buyers depend on their own experience and expertise, or that of a qualified marine surveyor when making a buying decision for any used vessel. The seller believes the mechanical and operational systems to be in generally good working order. However, some systems have not been utilized in some time and their functionality cannot be confirmed or gauranteed by the seller. It should be noted that there are four air conditioning units on this vessel. Two of those are not functioning and no diagnostics have been undertaken to identify the problem in the non-working units. Please note that there is some evidence of dry rot in the exterior planking below the rail cap on the port side of the cockpit. There are photos in the photo gallery. One other note, the porta potty/cassette toilet shown in the picture of the master head is not included. The vacuhead toilet works fine. Stock #439381 One of A Kind!! Custom Trumpy and Sons Motor Yacht! Turn Heads Wherever You Go! Don't bother searching...you won't find another one like it! Step aboard this 1956 Trumpy flush deck cockpit cruiser, and you are transported back to the Golden Age of gentile yachting. This classic flush deck design maximizes all her space and enhances the joy of living and playing on her. She is powered by two GM Diesel 6-71s engines and, with the Westerbeke 15 KW generator, she's the perfect combination of reliability and economy. Her sharp bow and full-length keel allow her to glide through the water, barely sipping fuel. At 9 knots, she burns about 7.8 gal/hr. The current owner has history records, starting with the original blueprint. Boxes of ship's logs, guest registry, and records of major work done - including the extensive refit done in the mid-1990s at Roscioli Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale. There, she had fiberglass added over the wooden hull, extended fuel capacity added, and a reverse osmosis water maker added so that her owner could spend months in the Bahamas and not pay for fresh water. Her layout begins with crew quarters forward with head and shower. The galley is below and forward of the main salon sitting area, which features rich mahogany paneling and period-correct furniture. Moving aft, there are guest quarters midship starboard and a guest head and shower to port. The guest cabin features two beds plus two additional drop-down bunks. The master cabin is aft with an attached private head and shower. The master cabin features a queen-size bed with extensive storage under the bed. Additionally, there are several dressers and two hanging lockers. Four steps up, and you have direct access to the aft cockpit. This access allows you to step out directly from the Master cabin and enjoy your morning coffee without needing to pass through any other area on the yacht. The current owner added modern Navionics (Garmin), marine WiFi, and many other touches in the galley and engine room. She is a blue water boat, ready to sail to her new home. Come see this floating condo that's ready for your personal touches, all the while enjoying a special piece of nautical history. Don't miss this one! She won't be around long! Comes with all the Chris-Craft flags, lines and fenders needed for safe operation. The boat was very presentable. The exterior was clean, the gel looked to be in very good condition. No excessive scrapes, gouges or chips were noticed. The full enclosure looks great, the plastic is very clear. The cockpit was clean, the cushions looked great. The engine hatch deck felt soft, and the hatch does not open on its own (perhaps a bad lift actuator). The helm looked great as it stays covered. The gauges were clear, switches were readable, controls looked nice, wood bezels were nice and the steering wheel looked great. The cabin smelled musty and had some mildew. A good cleaning will be required to smell fresh. The cushions looked nice with no signs of damage. The cabinets looked nice with no signs of damage. The mid-berth headliner panel needs to be secured and there is no headliner panel in the upper headroom area. The wood steps, floor panel and table looked nice with minimal signs of wear. The forward cabin was clean, with no signs of excessive wear and tear. Mildew and musty smells were present. The bow cushions were on the bed and they looked very nice. The engine hatch has to be lifted with assistance. The engines look to be in functional condition. There is some expected light corrosion, which is normal for the year. The bilge was clean with no oily fluids on top. No fluid leaks were seen from the engines. The wiring and systems looked to be in good condition with no excessive corrosion. The generator had some corrosion and missing paint. The generator is not working (the seller was told it needs a relay board). The seller discloses the bow thruster is not in working order.
