This 1996 Viking 50 Convertible is in good condition for her age. There was a small bit of water damage at the entry door maybe from the door being open during a rainstorm. The seller reports there are no leaks. This vessel had a slight mildew smell in it. There were fans running in the bedrooms but this could be remedied with more cleaning and airing out. I noticed moderate signs of oxidation on some of the metal, a little delamination on the wood varnish, a tiny bit of wear and tear on the vinyl furniture, and a nick on the top of the transom door. The accommodation step is broke and may need replacing. The vessel has typical stress cracks in transitions of the hull and cabin, around deck hatches electronic box, doorway, and on the fly bridge, the cracks are non-structural in nature. Anchor platform is broken and fractured. The small wind screen had a few cracks in it. In the stateroom, the ceiling lining was falling but could be tacked up. All of these issues are repairable and do not detract in the beauty and functionality of this gorgeous yacht. Stock #431324 Beautiful and maintained 1996 Viking 50 Convertible! Ready to hit the water! The 1996 Viking 50 Convertible is a well-regarded sportfishing yacht known for its combination of luxury, speed, and fishing capabilities. It's over 50 feet long, designed to handle offshore waters with ease, and has a sleek, classic look with its sharp, smooth lines and sturdy build. Onboard, the Viking 50 Convertible feels spacious and inviting. Inside, there's a blend of wood finishes and high-quality materials, giving the cabin a warm, comfortable feel. The layout includes a salon with seating, a galley (kitchen area), and staterooms, providing plenty of space for family or guests. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator, convection microwave, stove, ice maker, garbage disposal, and other appliances, allowing for easy meal prep on extended trips. The flybridge, or upper deck, is a standout feature and offers great visibility for spotting fish or navigating. You'll find seating around the captain's chair, making it a prime spot for guests to relax and take in the ocean views. For fishing, the Viking 50 is well-equipped with a spacious cockpit in the back of the boat, featuring ample storage for fishing gear, a live well for bait, rod holders, and rocket launchers. This yacht is powerful, fitted with twin diesel engines, allowing it to reach impressive speeds for its size. The standard three stateroom, two head interior mirrors that of her predecessor but with reduced salon and cabin dimensions. The single level salon, galley and dinette offer the perfect setting for entertaining. Below, the amidships master stateroom features a walkaround queen bed and both guest cabins have upper and lower bunks. A washer and dryer are concealed behind a companionway door. For the veteran angler, the 144 sq. ft. cockpit includes a top loading freezer, bait prep center, removable in deck fish box and a circulating livewell. I found this boat to be very clean and well maintained. The cabin is free from clutter, dirt and odors. Upholstery, woodwork, and the floor are all very clean and attractive. Lines, sail covers and canvas are all clean and in good shape. This is a great specimen of the ever-popular CS 36. She is easy to show so please book your appointment to see her right away. Stock #260342 This vessel was SOLD on May 30. This 1984 Canadian Sailcraft CS36 Masthead Sloop is fully rigged and ready for cruising. She is also an exceptional daysailer. Her sail inventory is strong as is her running and standing rigging. Sailing gear includes a roller furling jib, rigid boom vang, main cover, and lazy jacks. She is powered by a Westerbeke diesel inboard engine which has been professionally maintained. Electronics include GPS at navigation station and cockpit, radar, autopilot and wind, speed, depth gauges. Two of her instruments in the cabin near the navigation station are hinged so they swing into the companionway making them viewable by the skipper at the helm station. The cabin is well appointed. There is a galley to port and a quarter berth to starboard. Forward of the nav station is a bench seat convertible to a double berth followed by storage. Forward of the galley is the salon followed by the wet head. The cabin is finished with a V-berth stateroom fully forward. Her ample beam makes all of this cabin space comfortable for you and all of your guests. Standing and running rigging is in good order. All lines come back to the cockpit for single-handed sailors. The clutches are properly labeled for quick decision-making underway. The anchor is a 35# Bruce with 80 feet of chain and 150 feet of three strand nylon rode. There is an additional Danforth anchor with additional ride. Not pictures is a privacy door installed for the forward stateroom. This has been a family cruiser and the boat has been maintained as well as she has been used. Many trips out east on the sound are under her keel. The boat is ready for liveaboard as well. Make your appointment to see this boat today. She is ready for your surveyor and to take you and your loved ones cruising.
