1986 C&C YACHTS 27 Mark V C&C 27 MARK V - 1986 Contact: 239-777-3820"Chief" is not your typical sailboat in that this yacht has been extraordinarily maintained, and needs absolutely nothing but a captain who is ready to sail. I would not hesitate for an instant to climb aboard her and head out on an extended voyage. One of the best production boats ever built... Don't miss this opportunity to own a classy head-turner! This is my personal boat, which I have owned for three years. I sail her weekly (single handed), and every single system (engine, lights, sails, standing and running rigging, etc.) is in perfect working order. The bottom is cleaned monthly by a professional dive service. Terms:$8500 obo - A deposit of $750 is due within 24 hours, balance due within 7 days via cash in person or bank wire transfer. Vessel must be moved by last day of month, or storage fee of $600 applies for May, and any subsequent month. I do know a reliable sailboat transporter that is capable of delivering her anywhere this side of the Mississippi. The C&C 27 sloop rig was the yacht that set C&C on the road to becoming a world leader in fiberglass sailboats. Of all the designs produced by C&C, the 27 was by far their most successful. There may be many reasons for her success. Perhaps it's her outstanding sailing ability, her roominess and comfort as a cruiser, or the quality of her construction. Or maybe it's simply that, for so many sailors, she's the perfect sized yacht. Whatever the reasons, with nearly 1,000 hulls produced, the C&C 27 remains a yardstick, against which in many ways competitors are still being measured. Her salon has port and starboard settees with a fold down table on the port side, a quarter-berth on the port stern and a compact galley with sink, and ice box on the starboard stern. Forward she has a V-berth and just aft of the forward cabin there is a marine head on the port side and a sink and vanity on the starboard side. She has a VHF radio and a Raytheon ST 1000+ autopilot. Her auxiliary power is an 8-HP Yanmar 1GM diesel. 1981 C&C Yachts C&C 41,This boat is the C&C 41 Redline mold that was purchased by Capital Yachts and produced as a Newport 41. I state this upfront because I am posting as a C&C on boat trader because this is the likely audience to be interested in this vessel as the C&C 41 and the Newport 41 are synonymous. In the pricing of the SV "Kaze" I looked at C&C 41's around the Internet. Most are offered between $69K - 85K. Various levels of equipment and condition. I took the lower range of 69K, applied a 25% discount for the vessel being produced as a Newport resulting in my price of 51,500. A tall rig with a massive J area. There are 2 headsails an 85% and a 160% the 160 is great in the San Juan's where most of our cruising is done. The aux is a universal diesel 40hp with about 1700 hours. Nice engine runs well. 6.5 knots or 6 knots towing a dinghy. "Kaze" by the way has always been here in the San Juan's. The main sail is in fair condition and the head sails are good. There is a dodger and Bimini in green. The deck has been changed from off white to a gray non skid. At the helm there is a folding wheel and full instrumentation. GPS chart plotter, radar, ray marine sea talk auto helm and 2 depth sounders. I have found this setup to work quite well. If a potential purchaser does not want or care about this electronics package. I am happy to have it all professionally removed and give you a discount further. This equipment makes pleasant long passages and short handed sailing. The design below is the standard design. V berth 2 hanging lockers and a linen cabinet. Head is large and we essentially use half of the head as a closet. The salon has a U shaped settee that easily sits 6. The settee also makes to a double berth. The couch across from the settee is a comfortable single berth. The double berth aft in my opinion is only a double berth for children. Otherwise a single berth. The interior is warm with lots of wood, nice lead glass cabinet doors, good stowage and light. Very comfortable area for lounging. Oil lamps, wood burning stove for heat on the hook should you like. The galley consists of a double sink H/C pressure water, propane 3 burner stove / oven and deep ice box. I did add a small 12 volt refrigerator under the nav station. One interior caveat I will make is the headroom is about 6'1". So this may not be a boat for tall people. The cockpit is roomy and has one very deep lazzerette with lots of room and one shallow lazzerette. There are 2 propane lockers aft with 2 10# tanks one for the cabin and one plumbed for the BBQ. "Kaze" is well equipped for cruising the islands and all equipment and tools stay with the boat. Including a very nice Honda iu 2000 generator which we use on the hook. 2 sets of ground tackle. I will include moorage until May 2017. $51500

Completely rebuild over the last five years, this C&C 27 Mk V is one of the best sailing boats in her size range. With a shoal draft keel only drawing 3 feet, she is perfect for the Chesapeake. The new hybrid electric propulsion system by Electric Yachts makes her a perfect day-sailor/weekender. No expense has been spared on her upgrades and nearly every system has been replaced. Including: engine, batteries, refrigerator, electrical system, sailing instruments, cushions, head, hatches, deck hardware, running rigging, etc... With over $40k invested, "Being Little" is a turn key yacht ready for you to enjoy. We regret selling her, but have purchased a larger yacht and can't take care of both. She needs a new home and someone to enjoy her as much as we have.

It's ready for you and your family! This yacht is named Desiderata. She has been a project for over 3 years now. There is nothing left aboard this yacht that has not been inspected and gone threw. My opinion is that overall the yacht is in great shape for its age and a shining example of the long term durability of a well built fiberglass yacht. Desiderata was re-launched on December 16 2013 in St. Petersburg FL following a 2.5 year refit in the town of Dresser WI at "Shipwreck Boat Works" a highly reputable boat service yard. Having also spent its previous 40+ years in the freshwater of the Midwest's lakes and rivers getting only seasonal use, the yacht has an air of crisp shiny newness about it despite its age. The deck paint and non-skid is "Awlgrip" brand put on under the supervision of the professionals at "Shipwreck Boat Works". The gelcoat on the freeboard is original, but was restored to a high gloss. The bottom was completely smoothed, faired, and then covered with "Interlux Epoxy Barrier Coat System" put on after at least 2 years of drying out on the hard- so there is no risk of sealing water under the barrier coat resulting in a practically blister proof hull. "Interlux Ultra" bottom paint was applied a week before wetting the boat in its new home of St. Petersburg Florida. This yacht sails great in light air, she is fast and nimble, but still behaves herself when the afternoon thunderstorms hit. We have sailed her to every corner of Tampa Bay as well as a 700+ nm journey from St. Petersburg to her current home in Jacksonville FL which took us threw the legendary Florida Keys. We have full faith this yacht could take you anywhere your willing to sail. But we personally have decided to move up to a bigger cruising yacht that is an opportunity we can't pass up. If you carefully examine our photo album of the yacht you will find that almost all of the photos were recently taken and that the descriptions of the photos tell more than we have space for in an ad.
