The vessel was out of the water in dry-dock when photos were taken. The vessel appears to be in good shape for the age. According to the seller all systems are operational! Could use fresh paint and new owners! Does need bottom paint before putting her back in the water. New items the seller has that go with the boat: Brand new in-the-box Depth and speed Instruments and two brand new steering wheels, along with two extra throttle and steering cables. Ready for the next adventurer! The 1983 Morgan Out Island 41 was designed by the legendary designer Charley Morgan! This popular design was one of the first center-cockpit boats and one of the first to discount sailing performance in place of space for guests! As you enter the Morgan you enter into the galley, dining area you are met with lots of storage along both sides! The galley and the L-shaped dinette makes into a double berth when not in use for meals! The galley has a sink, microwave and stove/oven and plenty of counter space and enclosed cabinets! Portside has a long straight settee (berth) on which can be used as a bed at night or sofa by day. There is a shelf above it and two large rolling door storage units. There is also storage below the settee for all your essentials! There is also a navigation station with a large chart table that has drawers and a large icebox behind the long-settee on the port side. The walk-through to the master cabin starts aft of the navigation station and has a large shelf opposite of the access to the engine room. The master cabin has a large hanging locker. There is a shower and sink in the master cabin. The front V- berth has plenty of space for sleeping and storage! In the hall is another head with a sink! Across from the navigation station is the 2 door access to the engine compartment. The large engine room is quite spacious! This Morgan has traveled many miles and she will need some serious TLC and updating before her next Journey! She is dry-docked until it's sold. The boat has been enjoyed for many years and still has many years of enjoyment left in her. All systems will need to be checked, the stove may need to be replaced the burners are worn. The boat was just out of the water in July 2021 to have the bottom blasted and painted, new zincs, rudder repair, and a new prop installed Stock #192079 CLASSIC MORGAN 41 CATALINA MKII! NOT MANY LEFT OUT THERE! The Morgan Classic MKII was built by Catalina Yachts using the best ideas from the Morgan Out Island. These changes include the interior layout as well as the shape and style of the keel to make the boat faster, better to windward, and more comfortable below. Morgan's trademark center-cockpit with nearly 360 degrees of seating, and more seating at second level behind helmsman. Down companion way into main salon, with deep, narrow galley to starboard, dedicated nav station to port. Comfortable full-length settee (sliding-door teak cabinets behind) is across from L-shaped dinette (more teak cabinets behind). Dinette table folds up to forward bulkhead for spacious entertaining. Hanging locker across from salon-entry to forward head. Thru bulkhead door into V-berth stateroom forward, with separate door into head. Plenty of shelving and storage. This is a very Spacious and seaworthy Sailboat. The current owner just sailed it around Florida and is living aboard. The A/C is not working but can be repaired. Auto Pilot needs to be sent out and repaired. Refrigerator and stove are not working either. Lines to running rigging may need to be replaced. There are a lot of new items boat is a great liveaboard and has an extremely thick fiberglass hull. Everything is extremely sound with improvements in cabinets, drawers and storage areas as well as a custom built fiberglass top that holds solar panels as well being designed to catch rain water, down an aluminum leg right in to the holding tank. On 4/26 seller Rebuilt Alternator and installed New alternator belt installed new temperature gauges and volt meter gauge. installed a turnbuckle for the boom lift. 1978 Morgan 41 Out Island This Morgan is located in Naples. Bothe the diesel motor and the generator are inoperable and this the price reflects accordingly. Owned and maintained by the same couple for years. 1978 Morgan 41' Out Island Model. i.e. 2 masts with a center cockpit and a walk-through to the large aft cabin. We call it our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the water. A great live-aboard for somebody especially if he is machanically inclined. It has the upgraded 62 HP perkins engine (inoperable) which has to be rebuilt or replaced with a Yanmar 75 HP (about the same price as a rebuild.) Also the 7.5 HP Onan generator (inoperable) that has to be rebuilt or replaced. (Both are original equipment) Some newer things are ensuite bathroom, kitchen sink, faucets, air conditioning (16000 BTU). New batteries, bimini windshield, etc. The boat has a large drop in freezer and large frig. Electric stove, microwave, TV, etc The sails are in fair to good condition. A couple of new water pumps (at 100.00 each) will probably be needed. Also the refrigeration will need to be recharged with more freon Price droped January 13, 2016. Boat is being sold as is you will need to do some work on this boat but you're getting it dirt cheap. 1988 Morgan 41 Out Island The Morgan 41 is a good cruising boat for the Islands. She will sleep 6 in three cabins, 2 in the forward V-berth, 2 on the settee and 2 in the master stateroom. There are two heads, the forward one is a wet head and the one in the master has a shower stall. There is a drop in air conditioning unit at fits in the aft hatch in the master stateroom and is vented to the main salon area. This runs off of shore power. The heating system is a diesel heater in the engine room.
