This project is being sold "as is where is". The hull is currently tack welded within a fully insulated and functioning shop in Clarkston Washington on the shores of the Snake River a mere 120 miles from its mouth to the Columbia River and another 345 miles to the Pacific Ocean. Since the project currently is tack welded, final weld up and more lead for ballast need to be added. After which, she'll be ready to move to a new destination via truck or water for finishing if the buyer so desires. The shop is available for lease if the buyer decides to finish the boat on location. The hard "Bimini" top is not connected due to headroom within the shop. All specifications, cut files, blueprints, and plans are included. And, all aluminum to finish the hull is reported to be onsite. Construction began in 2005. She represents the unfulfilled dream of an ambitious, hard-working entrepreneur who ran out of time to complete her - keep the dream alive! Stock #143811 One of a kind Custom Project sail boat! She is unfinished and ready for a new owner to make her all she was meant to be! 95 Foot Schooner Project This Schooner was the brainchild of its owner after sailing as a missionary in the South Pacific starting in 1985. Over the past 20 years, he has sailed over 42,000 nautical miles reaching over twenty countries and island nations. These experiences as a missionary and providing relief work were the catalyst for this project. Designed as a highly capable long range, fast and safe offshore sailing vessel in aluminum for sailing expeditions ranging from the tropics to the Arctic, the original intent was that she be capable of doing rescue work, mission work, and relief supplies delivery for troubled areas. Long range under power was also a primary requirement, thus one could legitimately refer to this as a true motor-sailor, with 100% functionality in either mode. The Schooner's lines will provide high performance in an easily driven hull, planned for maximum speed and the fastest passage times. The twin keels and rudders allow her to sit down where there is a big range with the tides. The interior layout has been planned around an extended family or a large charter party up to 20 passengers. As such, this 3 master will also make an exceptionally fine charter vessel. Displacement will vary from around 195,000# when lightly loaded, to a maximum capacity of 259,000# with tanks full, stores for twenty people, and the boat ready for a long passage, or alternately loaded with a cargo of supplies. Hull speed is predicted to achieve nearly 18 knots. Typical sailing speeds in favorable conditions should be in the range of 12 to 14 knots. In other words, built for comfort AND speed...! Reason for selling is failing health.

1985 Sutton Schooner Marconi Rig Jade Lady is truly a one-of-a-kind steel schooner.  She has voyaged more than 30,000 miles and has become known throughout New England, the Chesapeake, Bermuda, and the far corners of the Caribbean for her beauty under sail and her proven offshore record. Jade Lady was designed by George Sutton, the renowned steel boat designer and builder (Sutton Boat Works) of Tarpon Springs, FL and St. Augustine, FL during the 70's and 80's.  She was built in St. Augustine by Dennis Schreiber, a well-known steel boat builder who collaborated with George Sutton.  Jade Lady has had only two owners since her construction.  A shipwright himself, her previous owner took on the two-year project of finishing this beautiful boat, employing his fine joiner skills to craft an interior using solid mahogany, teak, and ash. Her interior was built with an eye to practicality, comfort and safety at sea. Jade Lady has rounded bilges (rolled steel) - a very special and unusual feature on steel boats of this size, most of which are hard chine.  She is a dream to sail, with a sea kindly motion in a variety of conditions, and a fair turn of speed as proven by her trophies from many Great Schooner Races. Virtually every system on the boat was updated in 2013-2014.  Jade Lady is Coast Guard documented for both Coastwise and Recreation.  Recent updates include:  new wiring throughout the vessel, an entirely new fuel system, all new PVC pressure-fitted plumbing system, new exhaust hoses, new through hull fittings, a Fireboy fire suppression system in the engine room, and high water alarm in the bilge.  There are two new VacuFlush heads and new sink faucets.  The standing rigging has been updated, and the sails have less than one season of use.  The holding tanks have been updated; the boat currently has a black and gray water-holding tank configuration.   Therefore, she is completely environmentally friendly as a zero-discharge boat.  Jade Lady currently is operating as a six pack sail charter vessel out of Port Huron, MI. The current owner’s plans have changed, so Jade Lady is on the market for only the second time since her construction.  Jade Lady is as sound, safe, and seaworthy a boat as you are going to find.  If you are looking for a classic vessel that draws attention in every port, Jade Lady is worth your consideration.  This unique schooner is ready to take you anywhere you desire in safety, comfort and style.  THE SELLERS HAVE REDUCED THE ASKING PRICE FROM $189,500 TO $169,900. THEY ARE                    MOTIVATED AND WILL LISTEN TO ALL REASONABLE OFFERS

1983 Jarvis Newman Schooner Quintessence’s hull is a duplicate of an early 20th century Friendship sloop, Dictator. Her hull was built in fiberglass by Jarvis Newman from a mold Newman developed during the restoration of the original Dictator. Malcomb Pettigrow built out her hull to a Bob Wallstrom design. While Newman’s other hulls were built out as sloops, Quintessence was rigged as a schooner. She combines the legendary grace and seakeeping ability of a Friendship sloop with the versatility of a schooner rig designed by Ralph Stanley. She is a truly unique vessel! Quintessence offers sleeping accommodations for four. From the forward V berth, the VacuFlush equipped head is aft to port with a hanging locker opposite to starboard. The main cabin features settees with pilot berths on both port and starboard and a fold down table. The galley is aft and features a 2011 Dickinson 00-2BP two-burner propane stove, stainless steel sink, and a pressurized cold water system. Headroom in the main cabin is 6’. The sole is teak and holly, the ceiling is pine and light is provided by eight brass light fixtures. The electrical system of the vessel consists of a basic 30 amp 110 volt AC shore power system for battery charging and a 12 volt DC system with three marine batteries: a dedicated engine start battery and two house batteries. Two battery selector switches allow engine and house batteries to be used for either purpose if needed. Circuit breaker distribution panels are installed on both the 110v and 12v systems.
