At first appearance, the Bayliner 3587 Motor Yacht appears to be a relatively straight forward 35-foot aft-cabin design with little to differentiate her from other small motor yachts. Looks can be deceiving--the 3587 provides three staterooms, while her competitors offered only two. The third stateroom is located beneath the (elevated) dinette, and while it's not really a full-size cabin, it has a roomy double berth and partial standing headroom, along with a privacy door and a large hanging locker. To accomplish this innovative floorplan, Bayliner engineers moved the galley up into the salon and employed a rather awkward combination of three doors forward leading to the two staterooms and the head.
