1982 C & C 32 The C&C 32 is a blend of speed and style that helped turn C&C Yachts into Canada's largest yacht builder. Mirage has great lines, big cockpit, and a spacious and comfortable interior. There is plenty of room below for family cruises. On deck there is an open cockpit with pedestal helm, stainless steel wheel, aft bench helm seat, guest seating to each side, and under-seat storage. She comes with mainsail and genoa. The mast and boom are aluminum with stainless steel rigging, two Barient #26 winches in cockpit, and four Barient #10 winches at the mast.Below, Mirage has a spacious interior. Forward is a roomy v-berth with under-berth storage, rope locker, and filler cushion. Moving aft there is an enclosed head compartment with manual marine head and vanity with stainless sink. Across from the head compartment is a large hanging locker. The main salon features a large settee port side with convertible dinette to starboard. Aft starboard is the galley with teak cabinets, counter top, stainless steel sink, two-burner range, and ice box. Across from the galley is a spacious nav station with chart table and storage. A quarterberth is located aft of the nav station to complete the sleeping accommodations with room for six total.This C&C 30 has a Yanmar 2GM diesel power plant. Running into a wave, the bow drops in cushioned fashion. A hard-over turn at cruising speed results in a 180-degree course change in about two boat lengths. The twin Caterpillar C-7 diesels takes five seconds to boost the 32 onto plane. Once the engines build boost, the acceleration really snaps your head back. They pushed us to a top speed of 32.2 knots at 2,800 rpm. Amazingly, the engines use but 49.6 gph total at wide-open throttle. Caterpillar suggests a more judicious cruising speed of 29.8 knots at 2,500 rpm. This boat is a stand-up fisherman's dream. You'll find three rod holders under and two in each gunwale. The rails meet midthigh, the cockpit provides plenty of space for four anglers and a mate to operate simultaneously! The outriggers and rod holder combination can easily support 6 - 8 line spread for your Pelagic species.
