1973 Hatteras Convertible New Full Awlgrip and Awlcraft paint job on hull and top sides completed March 2016. She also received balanced and reconditioned props and shafts as well as a $10,000 bottom job completed in September of 2015.The 53' Hatteras Convertible is a timeless, fish-raising, open water beast of a fishing yacht. There have been many of these classic boats restored... but none to this level of restoration, a project that began with an empty shell! It all took place in 2012 starting with rebuilding the engine room stringers and replacing every bulkhead, new bridge, new windows, repowering with Cat 3406s, adding a mezzanine and so much more!!! She has been rebuilt very thoughtfully and tastefully without any corners being cut. Above the bulkheads the structure has been rebuilt with extensive use of Nidacore to both lower the weight as well as to lower the center of gravity. She is nimble and responsive; yet still the classic Carolina Battle Wagon. Her lines have incorporated the modernly desirable yet timeless Carolina custom yachts..... This is a completely new yacht above the wetted hull surface. Interior finishes were a pursuit of minimal elegance, but the best rooms on the yacht are the bridge and cockpit. This boat has been meticulously maintained so if you know boating history, this vessel was the prime of its time!! This mostly original 1967 41' Hatteras Fly Bridge Sport fisherman powered by twin 3208 Cat diesels with 500 hour SMOH. This classic 41 foot Hatteras is the hull that made Hatteras legendary. When men were real men and boats were real boats, this Hatteras hull proved that Hatteras was head and shoulders above the others when it came to engineering and building an offshore fisherman. These hulls are prized for remanufacture projects that compete with the newest and best sports fisherman out there. The wood work is simple gorgeous. Nothing has to be done inside, accept for a new rug. The built in recessed lights in the master bedroom and under the counter in the kitchen. There is sound sound speakers in the salon and a built in stereo system. This boat is sound, and in good mechanical condition; able to be cruised or fished in her present condition with a little TLC. The two stateroom layout provides great accommodations. The boat sleeps a total of 8 people. Two new futon coughs never been slept on. For a bigger boat with more accommodations than today's usual yachts, this Hatteras 41 is surprisingly fuel efficient. The 3208 cruise at 17 knots burning a combined 21 gph, but slow cruise at 9 knots burning only 7 gph. 2008 Hatteras 68 Convertible Hatteras' 68 Convertible is built on a solid fiberglass, convex hull with deep propeller tunnels. The 68's hull shape features a ?warped? bottom, which simply refers to a highly variable deadrise that flows from approximately 20 degrees in the midship sections to a nearly flat 2 degrees at the transom. The convexity of the bow reduces impact accelerations and contributes to an incredibly smooth head-sea ride. Double chines knock spray down and away, as does an exaggerated bow flare. Specially designed strakes that bisect the stagnation line -- the point at which the water?s surface meets the hull bottom once on plane -- provide additional dynamic lift, increased stability and improved tracking in all sea conditions. Hatteras tunnels are significantly deeper than most, which reduces draft and allows larger propellers to be tucked in tighter to the hull. This reduces the amount of space needed between the tip of the blade and the hull bottom -- often to as little as 6 percent of the blade diameter. That tight fit into the tunnel provides uniform containment around the blades, which eliminates the slapping of water against the hull that you typically get with a flat bottom. It also helps accelerate the water through the blades, much like a bullet through the barrel of a gun. A sliding door leads to the luxurious salon, which features genuine cherry wood in either a satin or high-gloss polyester finish. A U-shaped, wrap-around lounge provides comfortable viewing of the 42-inch plasma TV, as well as storage below for assembled rods. In the galley you'll find several deep storage drawers and surplus pantry space. Under-counter refrigerators and solid-surface countertops keep the area clean, while a four-burner ceramic cooktop and microwave/convection oven keep it functional. Genuine cherry inserts dress up the appliance fascias. Across from the galley is a large U-shaped dinette with drawers underneath for storage. The area even includes a computer work station for increased productivity on the water. The four-stateroom, four-head layout includes a spacious full-beam master stateroom amidship with king-sized tapered berth and padded headboard. Twin portlights provide ambiant light, as well as an emergency exit. Two nightstands, dressers port and starboard, and a walk-in cedar-lined hanging locker accommodate a full complement of gear. The master head features solid-surface countertops, bowed-front cabinetry and Plexi mirror fascia for a spacious feel. Guests can bunk in a VIP guest stateroom in the bow or in the starboard guest stateroom, which includes side-by-side sliding berths. Crew's quarters with an upper/lower bunk arrangement lies to port. All compartments feature padded wall coverings and headliners.

1976 Hatteras 53 Convertible This classic 53' Hatteras Convertible is located in Freeport, Bahamas. 1271 Detroit Turbos, Starboard rebuilt with 100 hours, 3000 on Port that fire right up and runs and Generator runs.
