All wiring has been replaced with marine wiring and needs a junction box and inverter to be complete. The previous air conditioning unit was not serviceable and was discarded. A new unit needs to be installed. Running gear is present and shaft support bearings are needed as well as props. Rails are present. Stock #228935 Jack Hargrave-designed 41 Yacht Fish! 80% complete renovation! Ultra clean engine room ready for engines of your choice! The owner acquired Hull #39 as a project boat and has worked very hard over the years on restoration. The hull was cleaned and repainted with epoxy marine paint. Fuel tanks cleaned, the engine room was cleaned, made spotless, and ready for the next owner to drop in a pair of diesels. The freshwater tank was also cleaned out thoroughly. The Hatteras 41' Twin Cabin Cruiser, was an improved version of the very popular Double Cabin model; the aft deck has weather protection with an extended top and windshield design. This mostly original 1967 41' Hatteras Fly Bridge Sport fisherman powered by twin 3208 Cat diesels with 500 hour SMOH. This classic 41 foot Hatteras is the hull that made Hatteras legendary. When men were real men and boats were real boats, this Hatteras hull proved that Hatteras was head and shoulders above the others when it came to engineering and building an offshore fisherman. These hulls are prized for remanufacture projects that compete with the newest and best sports fisherman out there. The wood work is simple gorgeous. Nothing has to be done inside, accept for a new rug. The built in recessed lights in the master bedroom and under the counter in the kitchen. There is sound sound speakers in the salon and a built in stereo system. This boat is sound, and in good mechanical condition; able to be cruised or fished in her present condition with a little TLC. The two stateroom layout provides great accommodations. The boat sleeps a total of 8 people. Two new futon coughs never been slept on. For a bigger boat with more accommodations than today's usual yachts, this Hatteras 41 is surprisingly fuel efficient.
