All fuel drained and refilledwith fresh and stabilizer, oil drained and refilled, engine and strainer drainedand refilled with antifreeze, bilge cleaned, all lockers opened and cushions stood up,batteries on float charge, electronics removed etc....Comes with a great Roadrunner yard trailer. I use it to haul the boat the 12 miles between my home and the marina. It does a great job. However, If you're wanting to transport the boat a long distance on this trailer (over the road) it will need to be upgraded to a heavier weight capacity. I called Tri County Wheel & Tire in Northwood, OH. & Loadmaster Trailers in Port Clinton, OH. The price for 2 new 6000lbs complete axles with brakes, springs, complete hanger kit and 4 new tires and rims would be $1700 to $2000. plus installation about $400 then you would have a near new over the Road Trailer. If you don't need a Trailer at all, then I'll reduce the price of the boat $1500.00.

Hotspur is hull no. PS252460279 (built Feb, 1979); MkII model, cutter rigged. She is 25 feet from stem to stern with an additional two feet of bowsprit. Specification draft is 3' 3" but is probably closer to 3' 6". Width is 8 feet. Head room is five feet. Depth transducer is approximately even with the mast and about 18" below the water line. The sails are tanbark. Head sails are in good condition. The jib is roller furling, the boomed staysail is hanked on and loose footed with inhaul/outhaul and self tending sheet. It is bagged on the stay. Main is fair but has a small patch on the top batten pocket. Main has a sail jockey and cover with hardware for jiffy reefing in addition to standard reefing points. There are five bronze winches for sheets and halyards. The six portholes are bronze with double dogs. Deck, cap rails, bowsprit, handrails, trim, washboards, and interior panelling are teak. Cabin sole is teak and holly. The original diesel 8 hp. Yanmar YSM8 runs fine, does not smoke and uses little or no oil. The generator sustains two deep cycle marine batteries. There is a shore power charger. The fuel system is currently connected to a 3 gal. tank in the port lazarette. The factory installed tank in the keel is in place and can be easily reconnected. A third party hour meter on board when purchased in 2006 showed 250 hours. Estimate an additional 750 hours on the engine since then. The boat was last hauled and the bottom painted November 2013. There were small blisters along the keel but not considered a problem or detrimental to the integrity of the hull. The galley has a small toaster oven, microwave, and a single burner gas cartridge stove. The original kerosene stove was removed but goes with the boat if the new owner wants it. The head works well and services a 10 gal. holding tank. There are two marine radios: a hand held and an installed set with a masthead antenna. Both work. There is a cockpit mounted compass. The read outs for the log and depth finder are mounted below the compass. The ground tackle is plow anchor, chain, and about 150 feet of rope mounted on the bow sprit with a haus hole to the chain locker. The interior, including the furniture and ice chest are all original and in amazingly good condition though I'm told the upholstery style is outdated (I like it). The dinette makes a double berth. There is a quarter berth on the starbord. The head is in the forward cabin next to the V berth. The headliner is good except at the aft end of the bomar hatch. I had planned to replace the forward headliner with aromatic cedar, but... Also, the cap rails need to be recoated with cetol or other teak friendly finish. My own preference would be to remove the coating and go with bare teak as it was when I bought it. Happily, the teak deck has always been natural and thus only requires washing. I bought the boat in 2006 and had it shipped from Holland Michigan where it had been stored in an old Cris Craft factory. The previous three owners sailed the boat on the great lakes during the season and dry stored it during the winters. I relaunched it at the Napa Valley Marina. It has been in the delta and upper estuary from that time. The boat is in Suisun City, CA 94585
