This sailboat had a recent haulout where a bottom job was completed. It is a used classic sailboat in better than expected condition. The exterior gelcoat is in typical condition. The current owner indicated that, besides a couple of navigations lights that need to be replaced, all mechanical and electrical systems are in working order. Stock #278016 Beautiful Bruce King design! Ready to get on the water and enjoy! The Ericson 29 was built between 1970 and 1978 and is a popular overnight cruiser in the Bay and beyond. Well designed and sails well in the Pacific Coast waters. The design has sleeping accommodations for five people, with a double V-berth in the bow cabin and two straight settee quarter berths in the main cabin along with a drop-leaf table and one quarter berth aft on the starboard side. The galley is located on the port side just forward of the companionway ladder. The galley is L-shaped and is equipped with an icebox and a sink. I lived on this boat for 3 years and sailed it from TX with my husband who is not here anymore. Someone was living on it the last 4 months and did a few repairs as well so its very well taken care of. So far this is what i know about the boat: it has An inboard 5416 Diesel 16HP water cooled engine. Two mainsails in above average condition, two roller furling Genoas, Storm jib and Crusing Spinnaker with snuff ring. 47.2 ft mast, 4 ft Keel. Manual head, engine serviced and cooling system cleaned 2 years ago at least. Some minor cosmetic wears and tares. I own the title. And have the new registration. It has a mini refrigerator (120 volt) installed with the original gimbaled 2 burner stove with oven provided separately. The galley also has plenty of counter space, a 6 cubic foot insulated ice box with insulated lid, a tilt-out dish caddy, a wine locker and additional storage drawers and cabinets. There is plenty of storage on board and two water tanks plus one water bladder for some 40+ gallons of water available. There is a navigation station to port and behind it there is a spacious 6' 6" quarter berth with opening ventilation ports. Forward of the nav station is the settee with seating for 4, and a convertible table that provides sleeping accommodation for 2 adults. If you are looking for a World Class Sailboat, that has been almost entirely re-fitted and upgraded this is it. These legendary 1972 Ericson 39' Sailboats rarely come up on the market, and when they do, 9/10 have to be completely refitted (figure at least $50k for a basic refit and that is on the cheaper end). Mine has close to $75k worth of work done to it in the past 5 years. If you were to ask someone what year they thought it was you would be surprised to hear someone throw out a number below the 2000's era. It is clean, comfortable, and most importantly, affordable. A boat of this size and condition should fetch close to the $80k-$100k range. There are a few others in poor condition currently on the market at $45k and above. They have not the following items done I can assure you this.
